The Arizona Cardinals (1-4) and Los Angeles Rams (2-3) will face off in Week 6 of the 2023 NFL season on Sunday, October 15th at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The Cardinals are coming off a 34-20 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, while the Rams are coming off a 24-17 win over the Las Vegas Raiders.

Cardinals without Kyler Murray

The Cardinals will be without quarterback Kyler Murray for the second straight week due to a hamstring injury. Colt McCoy will start in Murray’s place. Along with Murray, the Cardinals also lost running back James Conner to a knee injury last week. Conner is on injured reserve and will be out for at least four weeks. This will be sure to affect how the Cardinals play.

Rams Looking to Build on Momentum

The Rams are coming off a big win over the Raiders. Therefore, they will be looking to build on that momentum against the Cardinals. The Rams have a lot of talent on their roster, including quarterback Matthew Stafford, wide receiver Cooper Kupp, and defensive tackle Aaron Donald. All in all, they are sure to be a force to be reckoned with this Sunday. 

Cardinals’ Offense vs. Rams’ Defense

Overall, the Cardinals’ offense has struggled this season, but they will need to find a way to move the ball against the Rams’ defense. The Rams have a good defense, but they are vulnerable against the run. All in all, the Cardinals will need to find a way to get Colt McCoy and running back Eno Benjamin going. 

Cardinals’ Pass Defense vs. Rams’ Passing Game

Meanwhile, the Cardinals have a weak pass defense, and they will be up against a high-powered Rams passing game led by Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp. All in all, the Cardinals will need to get pressure on Stafford. Finally, they will also have to find a way to cover Kupp if they want to have a chance to win the game.

Rams’ Running Game vs. Cardinals’ Run Defense

The Rams have a good running game led by Cam Akers and Darrell Henderson Jr. The Cardinals have a decent run defense. However, in the end, they will need to be able to stop the run if they want to win the game.

In conclusion, most experts predict that the Rams will win the game. Ultimately, we will stick to our instincts and agree with them on this one. All in all, we know the Cardinals and the Rams are a pretty even matchup. It will be a fun game to watch in week six of the NFL.
