Pistons at Cavaliers, Lakers at Wizards, Bucks at Timberwolves, Devils at Oilers, Penguins at Coyotes, Blues at Blue Jackets
There are quite a few really good games on tap for Saturday. We look at some of those games here and see if the odds are something you should bet or not.
The Detroit Pistons hit the road to take on the Cleveland Cavaliers in an Eastern Conference showdown. The two central division foes have met each other three times this season thus far. The Pistons hold a 2-1 edge over the Cavaliers this season as each home team has won this year. The Pistons are struggling this year as they are 19-51 so far this season while the Cavaliers are 40-30 on the season. Both teams are coming off of a win and will be looking to extend that into a winning streak. The Cavaliers have been really solid at home but just have not been able to pull away from a lot of teams. Take the Pistons and the +8.0 point spread.
The Los Angeles Lakers continue their East Coast trip as they take on the Washington Wizards this evening. The Lakers are 30-40 on the season while the Wizards are 29-40 this year. The Lakers just snapped their three-game losing streak by taking down Toronto. The Wizards are in the midst of a six-game losing streak and hope to get back to the win column against the Lakers. Take the Lakers to cover the +1.5 point spread.
The Milwaukee Bucks head over to Minnesota this afternoon to take on the Timberwolves. The Bucks have played really well this season as they sit at 44-26 on the year. The Timberwolves have also been on a roll as they are 41-30 on the season. They are on a three-game win streak that they will try to continue in this one. Take the Timberwolves and the +3.0 spread to continue their winning ways.
And now for the action on the ice…
The New Jersey Devils head off to take on the Edmonton Oilers this afternoon in what should be a very solid hockey game. The Devils are 22-34-5 this season while the Oilers are 34-23-4. The Devils have lost their last two games while the Oilers are on a four-game winning streak. The Oilers have been really good this season and will look to continue that in a game that they should win. Take the Oilers to cover the -1.5 puck line.
The Pittsburgh Penguins are taking a trip out to the West Coast to take on the Arizona Coyotes. The Penguins are 37-16-9 on the season while the Coyotes are 20-36-4. The Penguins are going to be a big contender for the Stanley Cup while the Coyotes are one of the worst teams in the league so far this season. I look for the Penguins to take an easy win in this one. Take the Penguins puck line at -1.5.
The St. Louis Blues and the Columbus Blue Jackets meet up this afternoon in what is going to be one of the best games of the day. The Blues are 34-17-9 on the season while the Blue Jackets are 31-28-3 on the season. St. Louis is going to have their hands full on the road but they have been playing very well as of late as they have covered in four straight. Take the Blues and their +1.5 puck line.
Enjoy the games! Best of luck!!
