Parlay of the Day

Action247 Multi-Game NFL Parlay for Dec. 23, 2022

After going 3-0 on Wednesday night, our single-game parlay on the Carolina Hurricanes fell just short, as the Penguins and Hurricanes defied the trends and hit the over. However, the Hurricanes did win and covered the spread as predicted. That brings our record of hitting out parlay to 1-3, while we have gone 7-5 across our individual picks.

For our Friday’s multi-game parlay, we turn to the NFL and have put together our parlay for week 16 on the NFL schedule.

Detroit Lions -2.5 (-120) over Carolina Panthers

week 16 lions vs panthers nfl football bettingThe Detroit Lions have been very impressive recently, having won six of the last seven games, having covered the spread in six of those games, including the previous five games in a row. The Lions have a 10-4 record against the spread, while the Carlina Panthers have a 7-7 ATS record.

Carolina may have gone 4-2 ATS in the last six games, but we’re riding with the Detroit Lions as they continue to improve and move from on the bubble to in contention for a playoff spot.

Cincinnati Bengals (-169) over New England Patriots

week 16 bengals vs patriots nfl football bettingThe weather shouldn’t be as much of a factor for the Cincinnati Bengals’ passing attack on Saturday, despite wind speeds expected to reach 18mph.

The worse the weather, the better the chance the Patriots’ defense to keep this close and not have to rely on the Patriots’ passing game to keep them in the game. However, we’ve not convinced the Patriots will keep it close enough to cover the spread.

Regardless of what the weather throws at the Bengals and Patriots, Cincinnati is the better football team, and we’re looking for a win in the second leg of our parlay. We’ll take Cincinnati – the better football team – to win the game straight-up on the moneyline.

Tennesse Titans -3 (-120) over Houston Texans

week 16 texans vs titans nfl football bettingThe Houston Texans are awful, having a 1-12-1 overall record but holding a 6-7-1 ATS record. Tennesse is a playoff team and should easily defeat the Titans.

The weather looks like it will be cold and somewhat windy on Saturday. However, Tennesse is ranked 15th in the NFL in rushing yards per game, while Houston is ranked 32nd against the run.

Whatever the weather is on Saturday, Tennessee should easily control the clock and scoreboard with their running game. We expect the Titans to easily cover the -3 point spread and improve on a 4-1 ATS record in the last five games against AFC South Competition.
