ACTION247: NBA/NHL Parlay for Dec. 5, 2022

The NBA and NHL continue to ramp up as we advance through the first portion of the current season. Let’s check out the three best bets for tonight!

Miami Heat (+1.5) over Memphis Grizzlies

grizzlies vs heat nba bettingWith a record of 11-12, many might believe that the Miami Heat aren’t fit to win this game. However, they’ve won four of their last five games, including a big win over the Boston Celtics.

The Memphis Grizzlies are definitely a tough opponent, but Miami’s defense is pretty strong. Their main focus will be on stopping Ja Morant, Memphis’ leading scorer.

Ja Morant leads the Memphis Grizzlies in points per game, averaging 28.5. He’s backed up by Steven Adams, who leads the team with 11.2 rebounds per game.

They’ll be without shooting guard Zaire Williams and forward Jake LaRavia tonight. With a few players sidelined, we think the Heat will win this one.

Phoenix Suns (+3) over Dallas Mavericks

mavericks vs heat nba bettingThe Dallas Mavericks have an excellent record when playing at home this season. Currently, the team is 11-11 overall, but they have a 9-3 record at home.

However, they also have a few players that are sidelined today. Point guard Kemba Walker won’t be taking the floor tonight, and center Christian Wood could be out too.

It’s also important to remember that the Mavericks have lost three of their last five NBA games. This includes a loss to the Detroit Pistons, who beat the Mavericks in overtime.

The Phoenix Suns have won four of their last five games. Led by Devin Booker, the team averages 116.7 points per game. Go with the Suns over the Mavericks tonight.

Vancouver Canucks (-217) over Montreal Canadiens

canucks vs canadiens nhl bettingThis one was a tough call, but in the end, we decided on taking the Vancouver Canucks. Our main problem with the Montreal Canadiens is their inability to score.

This season, the Canadiens are averaging just 2.79 goals per game. Their defense gives up 3.46 goals per game, and they’re coming off a 5-3 loss.

The Vancouver Canucks are coming off an overtime win over the Arizona Coyotes. They’re 3-2 in their last five games, and they average 3.36 goals per game.

The Canucks have a few shortcomings as well, especially on defense. We think this will be a close game, but the Cancuks will earn the victory.
