ACTION247: NBA/NHL Parlay for Dec. 1, 2022

The NBA and NHL continue to ramp up as we move through the first half of the current season. With a few big matches scheduled today, let’s take a look at how we think these three bouts will play out.

Dallas Mavericks (-7) over Detroit Pistons

pistons vs mavericks nba bettingThe Dallas Mavericks, led by Luka Doncic, have a record of 10-10 this season. When playing on the road, the Mavericks are 1-7 so far this season, however.

They’re coming off a big win over the Golden State Warriors, winning 116-113. With Doncic averaging 33.5 points per game, covering the spread shouldn’t be difficult.

The Detroit Pistons’ leading scorer is Bogdan Bogdanovic, who averages 20.3 points per game. The Pistons have a record of 5-18 and are 3-7 at home this season.

Point guard Jaden Ivey is still sidelined today, which is something to keep in mind. A few nights ago, they lost 140-110 to the New York Knicks. Go with the Mavericks to win the game and cover the seven-point spread.

Seattle Kraken (-130) over Washington Capitals

kraken vs capitals nhl bettingThe Washington Capitals are 3-2 over the course of their last five games. Their most recent game was a 5-1 win over the Vancouver Canucks.

With an overall record of 10-11-3, the Capitals come in as -105 favorites tonight. However, we don’t think they’ll be able to keep up with the Seattle Kraken.

The Kraken has a record of 14-5-3 and is 6-4-2 at home this season. On average, they’re putting up 3.82 goals per game while allowing just 3.09.

After winning six NBA games in a row, the Kraken has moved up to second in the Pacific Division. Look for them to overwhelm the Capitals early and pull off a win tonight.

Florida Panthers (-141) over Vancouver Canucks

canucks vs panthers nhl bettingOn the road this season, the Florida Panthers have a record of 4-7-1. However, they still have an overall record that is over .500 at 10-9-4.

The last five games have been rough on the Panthers, putting up a record of 1-4. Their most recent game was a loss to the Calgary Flames 6-2. Still, this team is averaging 3.35 goals per game, which is pretty strong.

The Vancouver Canucks defense seems to be their biggest weakness. On average, they’re giving up 3.78 goals per game and scoring 3.48.

They’re 3-5-1 at home this season with an overall record of 9-11-3. In our opinion, the Panthers are the better pick in this game.
