ACTION247: NBA/NHL Parlay for Wednesday, November 16, 2022

The NBA and NHL continue to ramp up as we move through the year’s first half. With a few big games scheduled, let’s look at how we think three matches will play out.

Milwaukee Bucks (-4.5) over Cleveland Cavalierscavaliers vs bucks nba betting

The first game we’re going to look at tonight is between the Milwaukee Bucks and Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavaliers come into this game at +4.5, which isn’t enough to convince us to take them. The other problem is that they’ve lost their last four games, including a 119-117 loss to the Sacramento Kings. Even after a 51-point game from PG Darius Garland, we can’t trust them.

The Milwaukee Bucks aren’t the most trustworthy team either. The problem we’re running into with the Bucks is that they’ve suffered a lot of injuries. Grayson Allen is still listed as “day-to-day” and Jrue Holiday has been ruled out. Still, the Bucks have Giannis Antetokounmpo and they’re our pick for this evening.

Dallas Mavericks (-8.5) over Houston Rocketsrockets vs mavericks nba betting

One thing that has been slightly shocking is how poorly the Houston Rockets are playing. Although they’re a young team, they’re a talented group but have a 2-12 record. They’ve lost their last three games and are 1-4 in their last five. In most of these losses, the Rockets lost by more than ten points.

The Dallas Mavericks are coming off a 103-101 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers. They have a 3-2 record in their last five and are 8-5 overall. With a 7-1 record at home, the Dallas Mavericks are the better pick in this game. They’ll have to cover a lot of points but they’re no strangers to covering spreads.

Los Angeles Kings (+115) over Edmonton Oilerskings vs oilers nhl betting

Our final game of the night is an NHL game between two solid teams. On one side you have the home team, the Edmonton Oilers. The Oilers have a record of 9-7-0 this season but are 4-5-0 at home. As a team, they’re allowing 3.63 goals per game while scoring just 3.69. Even after a 4-2 win over the Florida Panthers, they aren’t our pick.

The Los Angeles Kings have won four of their last five games. On November 14, they lost 6-5 to the Calgary Flames. Still, this team has done really well and beat the Florida Panthers too. Averaging 3.33 goals per game, we’ll take the Kings at +115.
