The NFL is going into Week 8 and there are several games worth watching and placing wagers on. Today, we’re going to take a look at how we think three games will play out.

Chicago Bears (+9.5) over Dallas Cowboys

We’re going to start this preview by saying that we don’t believe the Chicago Bears will win. We do, however, think the Bears will keep the spread within 9.5 points. They’re coming off of a huge 33-14 win over the New England Patriots and have a fairly strong defense. On average, the Bears are allowing just 18.9 points per game this season.

Still, the Dallas Cowboys will likely come away with a win in this game. They just beat the Detroit Lions 24-6 and have an overall record of 5-2. They’re 3-1 at home so you could take the Cowboys -476 on the moneyline. The better bet, however, is taking the Chicago Bears +9.5 against the spread.

Tennessee Titans (-2.5) over Houston Texans

It’s strange to us that the Tennessee Titans aren’t favored by more here. They have a record of 4-2 after last week’s win and are 2-1 on the road. They come into this game as just 2.5-point favorites but we’ll take the small spread. We expect Derrick Henry to have an incredible game against the Texans defense.

On average, the Houston Texans are allowing 164.7 rushing yards per game. They’re coming off a 38-20 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, yet again showing how poor their defense is. This one is an easy choice for us, we’ll take the Titans at -2.5.

Seattle Seahawks (-3.5) over New York Giants

This game is an interesting one, especially with Geno Smith under center. The Seahawks have won two straight games and both were against strong teams. Their most recent game was a 37-23 win over the Los Angeles Chargers, an important win on the road. They’re back at home this week where they have a 2-1 record.

The New York Giants are a strong team but we think their momentum stops here. The Seahawks are averaging 26.1 points per game, one of the best averages in the league. Look for them to get a fast start against New York and cover the spread.
