Before we address the McDavids of the North, we need to cast justly earned shade toward the Philadelphia 76ers.

Any team that goes 6:20 in a quarter without scoring a point should have left the floor and not bother coming back for the rest of the quarter or game. Shame on you, Philadelphia 76ers, for depriving us of the best thing in the playoffs: game seven.

As for Jayson Tatum, we want to see him in more game sevens after putting up 51 points. Tatum literally scored one-quarter of the points required to hit the over, but the 76ers’ eternity of not scoring cost us a win, as the game ended with a total of 200 total points scored while the line was set to 201.

As for the McDavids of the North: they didn’t get the goaltending or secondary scoring required to push the series to seven games, let alone win the Stanley Cup. The Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Oilers 5-2. While we took the Oilers to win, we also took the game to hit the over of seven.

Seattle Kraken over Dallas Stars (+155)

Seattle has a 2-2 record in Dallas, while the Stars hold the head-to-head season series 5-4.

The Seattle Kraken trailed the Colorado Avalanche 3-2 in round one, winning games six and seven to move onto the second round.

The Kraken entered game six of round two trailing the Stars 3-2 but won game six.

We’re taking the Kraken to repeat their performance in round one and upset the Dallas Stars in game seven to advance to the Western Conference Finals.
