Associated Press AP Poll Top 25 Update

The newly minted AP Top 25 poll is now out for men’s college basketball. This week, there was not much movement compared to previous weeks, but we still saw some shake-up in the poll.

Below we take a look at the movers and the teams who fell. There were no new teams who entered into the Top 25 this week.

Below we take a look at the Top 25 and who could make a move next week.

Baylor Bears Stays on Top

Baylor has now successfully bucked the early season trend of losing as soon as you are anointed the top spot. They had one of their most challenging games this past week as they played Iowa State on the road. Baylor is still the unanimous top team in the country as they received all 61 first-place votes.

Baylor has now been the top team in the country the last four weeks and does not look to have any thoughts of letting that top spot leave their team anytime soon. They are now 13-0 on the season and have some tough matchups coming up in the coming weeks.

Baylor has now held the top spot longer than anyone this year and looks to be able to hold that for a bit longer. They are playing fantastic basketball off of their run in the NCAA Tournament last year and now are sitting at 19 wins in a row.

We have to keep watching to see if they can make it all the way to the NCAA tournament without a loss.
