NFL Preseason Week 2 Betting Outlook for Bears vs Seahawks, Panthers vs Patriots, and Saints vs Packers

We’re heading into the second week of the NFL Preseason, giving us more games to bet on. Today, we’re going to take a look at each of them and give you the best picks in our opinion. Let’s go over each matchup and how you should bet on it.

Chicago Bears vs. Seattle Seahawks August 18, 2022 7:00pm cst

The Chicago Bears had a strong defense in Week 1 of the preseason, allowing just 14 points. If they can bring their offense up to speed, they could be trouble for Seattle. However, once most of their starters were finished for the day, their offense declined.

The Seattle Seahawks had quite an impressive offense, scoring 25 points. The only problem is their defense allowed 32, which lost them the game. Considering the Bears’ defense is better than Pittsburgh’s, we’ll take Chicago on the road. 

Carolina Panthers vs. New England Patriots August 19, 2022 7:00pm cst

Although injuries continue to plague the Panthers, they took home a big win last week. Beating the Washington Commanders 23-21 is definitely something to be happy about. The Panthers have depth, which is what should lead them to a win here.

The New England Patriots are known for their defense, but we didn’t see that last week. They lost 23-21 to the New York Giants, and now it’s back to the drawing board. We’ll have to see if there were any adjustments made, but we like the Panthers to win this one.

New Orleans Saints vs. Green Bay Packers August 19, 2022 6:00pm cst

The New Orleans Saints were shut down by the Houston Texans last week. Losing the game 17-13, the Saints’ offense was quite lackluster in Week 1 of the preseason. Quarterback problems continue to be the story in New Orleans.

The Green Bay Packers have no such problem as Jordan Love will take the field. Love had a pretty great game last week, although it ended in a loss. Although the Packers defense struggled, we expect them to bounce back in this one.
