NFL Preseason Week 2 Betting Outlook

We’re heading into the second week of the NFL Preseason, giving us more games to bet on. Today, we’re going to take a look at each of them and give you the best picks in our opinion. Let’s go over each matchup and how you should bet on it.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Los Angeles Chargers Saturday, August 20, 2022 9:00pm CST

The Dallas Cowboys’ offense was pretty underwhelming in their loss to the Denver Broncos. Losing 17-7, there isn’t much that we look forward to in this one. Their starters will likely be sat again, which puts the Los Angeles Chargers in the driver’s seat.

The Chargers might’ve lost their first preseason game, but their offense looked great. They scored 22 points against the Rams’ defense and could send out a few starters in this one. We’ll go with the Chargers to win this one at home.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Cleveland Browns Sunday, August 21, 2022 12:00pm CST

The Eagles Jalen Hurts started, who took a big hit in the first week of the preseason. They lost the game 24-21, which leads us to believe that he likely won’t start in Week 2. The Eagles will want to avoid any injuries as they head toward the regular season.

Deshaun Watson could get the start for the Browns again, but we wouldn’t bet on it. He didn’t do much during his time on the field last week, either.

The Cleveland Browns won 24-13 over the Jaguars due to their running game and Josh Dobbs. We’ll go with the Browns to win this one at home.
