The final week of the NFL regular season has arrived. It’s going to be an epic week of football. There is a mix of meaningful matchups and dud games on the slate. However, betting makes every game interesting.

Chicago Bears Travel to Minnesota to Face the Vikings

The Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings have both been eliminated from the playoffs. The Vikings were eliminated from the playoff race after being beaten 37-10 as 13-point underdogs at the Green Bay Packers Sunday night. Minnesota was no match for Green Bay, which scored the first 20 points to locking up the NFC’s No. 1 seed without QB Kirk Cousins, who was placed on the COVID-19 list.

The Chicago Bears scored a second straight victory in Week 17, easily knocking off the New York Giants 29-3 as a 7-point home favorite. Dalton threw for 173 yards and one touchdown, with an interception, while Richard Dent’s franchise single-season sack record was broken by Robert Quinn with his 18th sack. Rookie quarterback Justin Fields sat out due to a injury to his ankle.

The Minnesota Vikings won their most recent encounter, which took place in Week 14 of the NFL season. Cousins had only 61 passing yards with 2 touchdowns to 1 interception in the Vikings’ 17-9 road victory over the Bears.

Bears vs Vikings Betting Insights

The Vikings are -2.5 at home, and if they get Kirk Cousins back, this is likely a smart bet. Minnesota is 8-8 ATS, which is better than the Bears at 6-10.

The total is set at 44.5 points, but I would wait to see the injury report. If Cousins does not play, this game is going way under.

I think there is more excitement on which coach if either will make it out of Black Monday.  There would probably more bets on that then what will be on this game.
