Chicago Bulls Travel to Milwaukee to Face the Bucks
The Chicago Bulls have already been knocked down to the fifth position in the Eastern Conference. Now, only a few games separate them from the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Recent losses have been the reason for this skid in the Eastern Conference, which is unfortunate. Their schedule only gets more difficult as they face one of the best teams, the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Milwaukee Bucks, led by Giannis Antetokounmpo, claimed a big win over the Jazz not long ago. Being able to win games against great teams is what separates them from the Chicago Bulls.
Over their last meetings, the Bucks have done remarkably well against Chicago. The Bucks also get the added benefit of playing at home. So, who should you take in this game?
Game Preview: Chicago Bulls at Milwaukee Bucks March 22nd
The offense of Chicago has played rather impressively over the season, averaging 112.12 points per game. However, their defense over the last few weeks has been quite disappointing.
Currently, the Bulls defense allows 110.91 points per game, ranking 17th in the NBA. This kind of defense won’t help them beat the Bucks. They haven’t beat the Bucks since March of 2021.
The Milwaukee Bucks have a strong offense, ranking third in the NBA in points per game (114.86). However, it’s important to note that their defensive struggles are similar to the Chicago Bulls.
However, this hasn’t seemed to hinder them from claiming the No.2 spot in the Eastern Conference. It also hasn’t stopped them from going 9-1 against the Bulls in their last ten games.
Chicago Bulls at Milwaukee Bucks Betting Prediction
As we mentioned above, the Bucks have gone 9-1 against Chicago over their last ten meetings. Chicago’s last win was in March of 2021, and they won the game 118-112.
However, in their most recent game, that score was reversed, and the Bucks won 118-112. Milwaukee came into the game as five-point favorites and was on the road. In this game, the Bucks are the best pick.
However, the most important thing to note here is how large the spread will be. If it’s five points and under, we’d take the Bucks; if it goes over that, take the Bulls.
These two teams play each other incredibly tough. In their last three games, the largest margin of victory is six points.
You can use this as a guide. If the Bucks come in as 10-point favorites, be sure to take Chicago.
These two teams also go under the total often, going under seven times in the last ten meetings. In their last game, the total was set at 240, and it went well under.
Be sure to monitor how high the total is. If it’s 230 and up, take the under; if it’s around 220, take the over.
