Chicago Bulls at Philadelphia 76ers Preview and Predictions

Chicago Bulls Travel to Philadelphia to Face the 76ers

If the Chicago Bulls continue to lose games, they could lose their spot in the conference. They’ve already been replaced at the number two position to the Philadelphia 76ers, who they face on Monday.

Injuries seem to be the biggest problem, but that won’t help them when the NBA Finals roll around. So, can they come away from Philadelphia with a win over the 76ers?

The Philadelphia 76ers have found their stride, taking down teams left and right. On Monday, they’ll set their eyes on the Chicago Bulls, the No.3 team in the Eastern Conference. James Harden has lit up the scoreboard and will look to do so again here.

With the injuries dealt to the Bulls, the 76ers could easily win this. The question is, who’s the best pick to cover the spread?

Game Preview: Chicago Bulls at Philadelphia 76ers March 7th

The Chicago Bulls are known for their scoring, averaging 112.35 points per game. However, the scoring hasn’t helped them in recent weeks as they continue to fall in the standings.

To be fair, this isn’t exactly the Bulls’ fault. They’ve been dealing with injuries the entire season to both of their best players. The good news is both Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan are active today.

For the Philadelphia 76ers, the addition of James Harden was the missing piece they needed. As of today, they’ve won their last four games, most of which were by ten points or more.

With so much success, the 76ers have moved into the No.2 spot in the Eastern Conference. They can keep ahold of this spot by taking down the Chicago Bulls tonight, but who’s the best bet?

Chicago Bulls at Philadelphia 76ers Betting Prediction

Looking at both of these teams, there are two big factors. Who will be guarding James Harden and Joel Embiid? If Zach LaVine is tasked with guarding James Harden, the Bulls could keep this game close.

Nikola Vucevic will be the player guarding Joel Embiid, which is a pretty big mismatch. The last time these two played, the Chicago Bulls lost 119-108, Philadelphia was -4.

In fact, over their last ten games against each other, the Chicago Bulls are 0-10. Against the spread in those last ten games, the Bulls have gone 1-9.

Taking all of this into consideration, we’ll have to lean towards the 76ers here. The good news is Philadelphia 76ers are at home and won’t likely be favored by much. If it’s similar to their last meeting, the 76ers will be -4.

Betting on the total is interesting here because the last time, it was set at 220. However, we think the total will be higher in this game now that Harden plays for Philadelphia.

With the addition of Harden and the Bulls being healthy, we think the total will be set around 224.5. Even if it’s set up significantly higher, we’ll take the over in this game and Philadelphia to cover.
