Crush Your Bookie NFL Bets Week 2

crush your bookie NFL week 2

I hate to brag, but I was pretty good last week. 6-2-1 was great, but we were so close to 7-2 (thanks a lot, San Francisco). I’m back for Week 2 with three more locks and eight picks in total. I’m coming for your bookie this weekend. Let’s ride.

Buffalo Bills -3.5 vs. Miami Dolphins

I love Buffalo in a bounceback spot here. The Bills were up on the Steelers last week until the fourth quarter, but they did not look good at all. They only managed 16 points in a defensive struggle at home. They go on the road this week to face a Miami team who took down New England in Week 1. Buffalo has owned this matchup. They are 7-3 in the last 10 games between the two, including winning the last five. The Bills put up an astounding 87 total points against the Dolphins last year. I think Josh Allen gets back to his MVP-caliber form in this one and to keep the streak against Miami going. Back Buffalo with confidence on the road.

New England Patriots -6 vs. New York Jets

We’re sticking with the AFC East for this one. And speaking of winning streaks, New England has won 10 in a row against New York. Coach Bill Belichick also has a tendency of handling rookie quarterbacks. He is 21-6 all-time against fresh-faced signal callers. Zach Wilson looked solid in his first game against Carolina, but he is facing a much tougher test this week. The Patriots defense finished 7th last year in points allowed. The Jets have failed to score more than two touchdowns in eight of the last 10 meetings with the Patriots. Mac Jones was very impressive in his NFL debut against the Dolphins. He threw for 275 yards and a touchdown and did not turn the ball over. It’s safe to assume New England would have won last week if their running backs could keep from fumbling. This is another bounce back game for a clearly superior team. Look for New England to keep dominating the Jets. And Belichick to keep dominating rookie QBs.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Los Angeles Chargers Over 55

Two teams with exceptional talent at QB face off in what should be a high scoring affair. Dak proved the doubters wrong against the reigning champs last week. While Dallas still lost, Prescott threw for 403 yards and three touchdowns. LA features a solid defense, but not as good as Tampa Bay’s. Dak should have no problem throwing all over this Chargers defense. The Chargers are coming off of a 20-16 opening win against the Football Team, but they were more dominant than the score tells. They outgained Washington 424-259 yards and held the ball for 13 more minutes. The Cowboys defense gave up a lot of big plays to Tampa last week, sticking with their theme from all of last season. Dallas posted the 4th worst defense in the league last year, and I don’t expect this year to be much better. Both teams feature dynamic QBs and should be able to move the ball at will all game. Take the over.

Other Bets:

San Francisco 49ers vs. Philadelphia Eagles O49.5
Los Angeles Rams -3.5 vs. Indianapolis Colts
Las Vegas Raiders + 6.5 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
Kansas City Chiefs -5.5 vs. Baltimore Ravens
Detroit Lions +11.5 vs. Green Bay Packers

I’m hot in the NFL right now. Ride this wave with me, fellow bettors! Nothing but winners this weekend.
