We stayed hot in the Super Wildcard Round to the tune of a 4-2 weekend. That’s pretty good, especially for the playoffs, but I’m eying a clean 4-0 sweep for the Divisional Round. Since there are only four games this weekend, and we have been so good this year, I will be giving a full writeup for every game this weekend. Let’s ride.

San Francisco 49ers Travel to Green Bay to Face the Packers

We’ve got a rematch of the 2019 NFC Championship in Green Bay on Saturday night. The 49ers came out of that one with a 37-20 win. I doubt we will see another big win from San Fran, but six points seems way too much. It’s no secret that the Niners love to run the ball. That could be bad news for a Green Bay defense who ranks 28th in the league against the run.

Even if they manage to stop the run, Jimmy G has been able to consistently find DeeBo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, and George Kittle. The Niners have been able to get the best of Green Bay in the past. Over their last 10 meetings, San Fran has gone 6-4 SU and 6-3-1 ATS. It may be ugly, but I like the Niners to at least cover the number here.

If you read my regular season picks, which you did if you like money, then you are probably shocked to see me fading the Packers here. The 49ers just have too many weapons on offense to make me think Green Bay Packers can cover this number. Kittle will be a huge x-factor in this game. Just like they rank 28th against the rush, they also rank 28th in defense against opposing tight ends. They gave up a total of 871 receiving yards and eight touchdowns to opposing tight ends over the course of the season. 

The Packers tend to choke away one seeds and the Niners are the team nobody wants to play in the playoffs. Just like last week, take San Francisco to cover the number on the road. Maybe even sprinkle the moneyline.

We’re in for one hell of a weekend, boys and girls. I’ve crunched the numbers and there’s no way all these bets don’t win. We are going to continue our season of dominance. Pray for your bookie.
