From La Quinta to San Diego, the PGA Tour is two weeks into its California swing. This week The Farmers Insurance Opens starts on Wednesday and ends Saturday, which is beautiful for both golf and NFL fans.

We’re in for a star-studded field this weekend as six of the top 10 players in the world have committed to playing Torrey Pines. That includes 2021 U.S. Open Champion (played at Torrey Pines) and World No. 1 Jon Rahm. The North course will see some action before the cut on Thursday. Friday and Saturday rounds will be played at the South course

Bryson DeChambeau over Dustin Johnson Match Bet 5 -110

This is a show-me test for Dustin Johnson. Johnson hasn’t played well since winning the 2020 Masters, and he only has three top 10s since then. Now you flip the coin over to Bryson DeChambeau, who had two wins last year with nine top 10s. We also haven’t seen Johnson since October when he placed T45 at The CJ Cup. This is the first time Johnson has played this event since 2014. 

Jon Rahm Top Continental Europe -130

Rahm is the best player in the world. He won on this course last year. Francesco Molinari has the second-best odds in this group at +650 (if that tells you anything). Eat a little juice and take Rahm.

Xander Schauffele Winner +1750

Xander Schauffele placed second in the event last year and 7th at the U.S Open. He doesn’t have the greatest history outside of that with four miss cuts, most recently in 2020. Last time we saw Schauffele, he placed 12th at the Sentry Tournament of Champions a few weeks ago. A San Diego kid, he might have been eating home-cooked meals the last few weeks resting up.
