Daily Sports Bets for Monday, June 6

Here’s an overview of some of the top games in sports being played on June 6. Today, we’re taking a closer look at five games from Major League Baseball and the NHL Playoffs.

Texas Rangers vs. Cleveland Guardians – 7:10 PM ETrangers vs guardians baseball betting

Our first game of the daily sports bets we’ll take a look at is the Rangers versus the Guardians. Texas has lost four of their last five games, putting them in quite a bind here. As they start this series, they’ll head from Texas to Cleveland to play the Guardians on the road. Taking the mound is the 1-2 Jon Gray, who has an ERA of 4.83 this season.

The Cleveland Guardians have a record of 24-25 this season and are 11-8 at home. They’re quite the opposite of the Rangers in the sense that they’ve won four of their last five. Getting the start today is Cal Quantrill, who is 2-3 as a starter this season. The Guardians also have the edge in terms of batting, so we’ll take Cleveland -110.

Colorado Avalanche vs. Edmonton Oilers – 8:00 PM ETavalanche vs oilers hockey betting

The Colorado Avalanche leads this series 3-0 and is a game away from eliminating the Oilers. These last three games have displayed remarkable performances from the Avalanche. Tonight, they get the chance to take Edmonton out on the road. Unfortunately for Colorado, Nazem Kadri is out tonight. Kadri has been a big reason as to why they’re up 3-0 in the series.

This gives the Oilers a chance to turn the tides in their favor tonight. With Kadri out, a little of the offensive pressure will be taken off of them. The Avalanche will also be without Darcy Kuemper and Andre Burakovsky. With all of these injuries piling up for Colorado, the Oilers have the best chance of winning.

Seattle Mariners vs. Houston Astros – 8:10 PM ETmariners vs astros baseball betting

The Seattle Mariners have won three of their last five games. Tonight, however, they’ll face one of their toughest opponents, the Houston Astros. With a record of 24-30, the Mariners will look to inch closer to the .500 mark. Robbie Ray will get the nod as the starter tonight with a record of 2-4 this season. Ray has an ERA of 4.93 over the course of 65.2 innings pitched.

The Houston Astros have named Cristian Javier as their starting pitcher for tonight’s game. Javier has a record of 3-2 with an ERA of 2.41 this season. With the edge going to the Astros in pitching, we’ll take a look at batting next. As a team, the Astros have an average of .234, slightly under the Mariners. However, we’ll still take the home team tonight, Houston Astros -165.

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Kansas City Royals – 8:10 PM ETblue jays vs royals baseball betting

Starting at the same time as the game above is the Blue Jays versus the Royals. Toronto is 31-22 this season with a 13-12 record on the road. Ross Stripling, who is 1-1 this season will be the starting pitcher. Through 32 innings, Stripling has an ERA of 4.22, which isn’t very good. However, their batters have a team batting average of .245 which should help quite a lot.

The Royals are in a tough position here as they take on the Blue Jays. As a team, they have a batting average of .236 and an on-base percentage of .299. The Royals have also lost four of their last five games, which doesn’t help with morale and momentum. Daniel Lynch will get the start tonight and has a record of 2-4 this season. We’ve got to go with the Blue Jays -165.

Boston Red Sox vs. Los Angeles Angels – 9:38 PM ETred sox vs angels baseball betting

The Boston Red Sox have finally evened up their record to 27-27. This took quite a while, but after four straight wins, they were able to do it. Now, they get the chance to increase this record even further when they face the Angels. Boston will start one of their best starting pitchers in Michael Wacha, who is 3-1 this season. Wacha also has an impressive ERA of 2.43.

The Los Angeles Angels have lost 11 games in a row and things are looking dire. Their most recent game was a 9-7 loss to the Philadelphia Phillies. Pitching has been awful for the Angels, even with Shohei Ohtani in the rotation. Surprisingly enough, they still come in as -125 favorites against the Red Sox. That’s fine with us as we’ll happily take the Red Sox +105 here.
