Derek Carr threw for 341 yards | Dallas Covers in OT

NFL Week 6 Recap

The NFL regular season is one-third complete following the conclusion of Week 6. Bettors had some massive triumphs, but there were also many heartbreaking losses.

These crushing defeats began on Thursday night when the Buccaneers were unable to cover. However, the sports betting gods gave some wins back to the majority of bettors throughout the slate.

No Jon Gruden, No Worries

Jon Gruden was asked to step down as the Raiders head coach for inappropriate conduct. There were some worries that this would affect Las Vegas’ ability to win against Denver. They went into the game at +5, and the team covered with ease.

Gruden’s absence did not play a role as Derek Carr threw for 341 yards.

The Dallas Cowboys covered their -3.5 spread on the final play of overtime. Dak Prescott threw a touchdown to CeeDee Lamb to cap off a seven-play, 80-yard drive to win 35-29. The game was back and forth throughout the fourth quarter.

However, once Greg Zuerlein made a 49-yard field goal to send the game to overtime, it appeared like the Cowboys would have the advantage in overtime. The Patriots received the ball first in overtime, but they were unable to deliver.

This gave Prescott and the Cowboys a second life.

It’s now time for the seventh week of action. Best of luck betting!
