It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on the top five games on Monday’s schedule.

Chicago Cubs vs. Pittsburgh Pirates – 7:05 PM ET

The first game of the day that we’ll be taking a look at is between the Cubs and the Pirates. The Chicago Cubs, with a record of 25-41, will face the 26-39 Pittsburgh Pirates. On the mound for the Cubs tonight is Caleb Kilian, who has an 0-1 record with an 8.00 ERA. With such poor pitching on the mound, things aren’t looking good for Chicago.

The Pittsburgh Pirates are also in a bad spot when it comes to pitching. Taking the mound for them tonight is the 0-7 J.T. Brubaker. At least Brubaker has an ERA of 4.50, which is bad, but not nearly as bad as Kilian. There’s quite a long list of players that are sidelined for the Cubs as well. Because of this, we’ll take the Pirates tonight at -115.

Detroit Tigers vs. Boston Red Sox – 7:10 PM ET

Beginning shortly after the game above is the Detroit Tigers at Boston Red Sox. The Tigers won their last two games against the Texas Rangers, improving their record slightly. At the moment, Detroit has a record of 26-40, with an 8-18 record when traveling. Their road record makes us worry about taking them in this one. Getting the start today is the 1-3 Alex Faedo.

On the opposite side is the 1-1 Josh Winckowski, with an ERA of 4.50. Although he has fewer losses than Faedo, he’s also pitched fewer games. The Red Sox excels when it comes to batting, with a team batting average of .258. Tonight, they’ll look to use this against the Tigers and earn a win at home. We’ll go with the Red Sox tonight at -185.

San Francisco Giants vs. Atlanta Braves – 7:20 PM ET

The Giants and the Braves should be a pretty entertaining game to watch. San Francisco is 37-28, ranking third in the NL West. On the other side is the Atlanta Braves, who have a record of 38-29 and rank second in the NL East. With each of these teams being quite similar, we should have a close game tonight. On the mound for the Giants is the 6-2 Logan Webb.

Webb has an ERA of 3.43 this season and has thrown 68 strikeouts so far. There’s no doubting that Webb is one of the best pitchers for the Giants. However, the Braves are also starting one of their best on the mound today, Max Fried. Fried has a record of 7-2 this season with an ERA of 2.90. Even with Fried on the mound, we’ll take the underdog Giants here at +130.

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Milwaukee Brewers – 8:10 PM ET

Another game that’s set to be pretty entertaining is the Cardinals at the Brewers. St. Louis has had a tough five-game stretch, losing three of them. With all of the trouble they’ve had in terms of pitching being the most glaring problem. Tonight, they’ll send out the 5-4 Miles Mikolas to the mound tonight. Although Mikolas has a few losses, he has an impressive ERA of 2.62.

Speaking of an impressive ERA, Corbin Burnes will get the start for the Brewers today. Burnes has a 4-4 record as a starter with a 2.52 ERA. Through 78.2 innings, he’s thrown a total of 100 strikeouts. In terms of the pitching battle, the Brewers have that tied up. However, at the plate, the Cardinals are much better. Due to this, we’ll take the road team at +140.

Kansas City Royals vs. Los Angeles Angels – 9:38 PM ET

The last game we’ll take a look at is the Royals against the Angels. Each of these teams has struggled this season, with the Royals having a record of 23-42. The Angels are slightly under the .500 mark with a record of 33-36 this season. On the mound for Kansas City is Kris Bubic, who has an 0-4 record as a starter.

The Angles will send out Noah Syndergaard, who is 4-5 as a starter this year. Syndergaard also has a much better ERA than Bubic. Bubic has an ERA of 8.36 after pitching 28 innings this season, which is quite awful. The Angels have some pretty strong batters as well, so we’ll take Los Angeles at -185.
