Max Meyer put together a quality start for the Marlins, going six innings and giving up just one earned run while striking out three.

On the other side, the Cardinals started Jake Woodford, and he didn’t make it out of the 1st inning. Woodford gave up six runs and six hits in just 2/3 of an inning. St. Louis’s offense did have a total of 13 hits, but they didn’t have any timely hitting as they scored just three runs.
