The Philadelphia Eagles (7-7) are coming off of a second-straight win over the Washington Football Team, defeating them 27-17 on Tuesday, Dec. 22. They now face the New York Giants (4-10) in Week 16, who defeated earlier this season 7-13 at New York. The Eagles lost by 6 points against the Giants last time but this game means more to the Philly than it does to the Giants. The total is set at 41.5 because both teams score a lot of field goals and there will few to no touchdowns and not many extra point conversions made in this game.

From bad to worse: Why the Eagles will beat the Giants but May not Cover

The Philadelphia Eagles are not a great football team, but they are much better than the New York Giants. The Giants are unable to protect the quarterback, and this is their biggest problem. They will easily cover the spread if the Eagles get after the quarterback.

The New York Giants are 4-10, so the Eagles are only three wins better in 2021. However, this game does not mean anything to the Giants. Giants team is ready for Christmas, and both team will find it hard to cover a -10 for the Eagles and a +10 for the Gitants.

The total is set at 41.5 because neither team scores a lot of points. The under could be the best bet in this matchup.
