The matchup we look at is between the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics. This all goes down on Saturday, January 8, 2022; at 6:30pm Central Time. 

New York Knicks Travel to Boston to Face the Celtics on Saturday

The New York Knicks and Boston Celtics are neck and neck in the Eastern Conference. The Knicks have the No.10 spot while the Celtics sit at No.9.

New York is going to have to find a way to defend against Jayson Tatum, who will be returning soon. Unfortunately for New York, they’re missing a ton of players, notably Kemba Walker and Julius Randle.

With these players out, the likelihood of the Celtics winning is much higher. Our only concern is how large the spread might become in this game. The Knicks have done well against the spread on the road and are currently 10-8 ATS on the road.

If they could perhaps add a few players back in the lineup, they can keep this game close. We’ll take a risk with the Knicks on Saturday.
