NFL Conference Championship Betting Outlook

In the NFC, the San Francisco 49ers meet the Philadelphia Eagles. The 49ers are fresh off beating the Dallas Cowboys, while the Eagles took care of business against the New York Giants. Both teams are vying for the other half of the Super Bowl ticket. Expect a tight, hard-fought matchup featuring the two best teams in the conference.

NFC Championship Game

In the NFC Championship game, the high-flying Philadelphia Eagles look to make it to the Super Bowl for the first time since 2017, when they captured the Lombardi trophy led by QB Nick Foles.

Philly pounded the Giants in the Divisional Round 38-7 and ran away with the game early as quarterback Jalen Hurts passed for 154 yards and rushed for 34 more. Running back Kenneth Gainwell added 112 rushing yards.

Overall, the Eagles are in an excellent spot to take this contest and don’t show any significant injuries. However, Hurts will need to be at his best if the Eagles plan to go back to the Super Bowl. Barring a meltdown on the field, the Eagles will be ready to seal their Super Bowl ticket in this matchup.

The 49ers beat the Cowboys in a tight contest, 19-12. The Dallas offense sputtered due to the 49ers stifling defense and Prescott’s two interceptions. QB Brock Purdy threw for 214 yards against the Cowboys, and running backs Elijah Mitchell and Christian McCaffrey ran for 86 yards combined. 

On the defensive side, the 49ers got to the Cowboys’ quarterback twice, sacking him on two occasions while holding him to just 206 passing yards and one touchdown pass. The 49ers are on a roll. However, they are the moneyline underdogs, as the Eagles appear too much for the upstart 49ers.
