NFL Regular Season Week 2 Betting Outlook

In the NFL, every team has a chance to win on any given Sunday. But as we move into Week 2, some teams are starting to show their true colors. The teams that looked good in Week 1 are likely going to continue playing well, while the teams that struggled are going to have a harder time getting back on track.

That’s what makes NFL betting so interesting – anything can happen on any given Sunday. But that doesn’t mean we can’t make some educated guesses about how things will play out. So without further ado, let’s take a look at my predictions for Week 2 of the NFL season.

Seattle Seahawks vs. San Francisco 49ers – Sunday, September 18, 2022 3:05pm CST

The Seattle Seahawks started their season with a 17-16 win over the Denver Broncos. It was a wild game, but the Seahawks came out on top, surprisingly. Seahawks Geno Smith had a good performance as well, throwing for 195 yards and two touchdowns. 

The San Francisco 49ers lost 19-10 to the Chicago Bears, and questions are looming. There’s a chance they sit Trey Lance and start 49ers Jimmy Garoppollo instead. Lance threw for 164 yards and an interception last week, so we’ll go with the Seahawks +8.5.

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Dallas Cowboys – Sunday, September 18, 2022 3:25pm CST

The Cincinnati Bengals have to clean up their offense as they face the Dallas Cowboys. Five turnovers in a game is unreasonable and not what we expected from Bengals Joe Burrow. The good news for them is they’re going against Cowboys backup quarterback Cooper Rush. 

Last season, Rush had to step in for Dak Prescott and pulled off a huge win. However, we don’t see it going that way this time. Look for the Bengals to get a win on the road and cover the 6.5-point spread.
