NFL Week 5 Recap: Steelers vs Bills & Cowboys vs Rams

NFL Week 5 Recap

The fifth week of the NFL was full of action, along with a few upsets. Certain games that were considered “locks” ended up falling through the cracks, while others went according to plan.

Let’s take a look at some of the NFL games of the week during this NFL Week 5 recap.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Buffalo Bills – 38-3 (Bills)

Although this game was a blowout, we had to mention it in our NFL recap. The Pittsburgh Steelers are in desperate need of direction. We know they want Kenny Pickett to play, but perhaps he’s not ready to start.

At least when Mitchell Trubisky was playing, the Steelers won a game. Pickett threw for 327 yards, which is great, but not a single touchdown was scored.

The Buffalo Bills, on the other hand, scored several touchdowns. Responsible for most of them was Josh Allen, who passed for 424 yards and a touchdown.

As a team, the Bills put up 552 yards on the Pittsburgh defense. They also covered a 14-point spread and increased their record to 4-1. They’ll head to Kansas City to face the Chiefs this week.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Los Angeles Rams – 22-10 (Cowboys)

There are a few things to talk about in this game, but the main thing is Cooper Rush. As a starter, Cooper Rush has a 5-0 record now. He’s led the Dallas Cowboys to four straight wins, boasting a 4-1 record this season.week 5 dallas cowboys vs las angeles rams nfl football betting

Against the Rams, he went 10-16 with 102 yards; it was Dallas’ defense that won this game. Still, Rush knows how to protect the ball and win.

The Los Angeles Rams have several questions that need to be answered soon. Their ability to score on offense has taken a significant hit this year.

They average 16 points per game, ranking 29th in the league, and are last in rushing yards per game. They have a good matchup scheduled for this week, however, as they face the Carolina Panthers.
