NFL Week 6 Recap

The sixth week of the NFL was full of action, along with a few upsets. Certain games that were considered “locks” ended up falling through the cracks, while others went according to plan.

Let’s take a look at some of our favorite games of the week during this NFL Week 6 recap.

Atlanta Falcons vs. San Francisco 49ers – 28-14 (Falcons)

Perhaps the most shocking upset of the week was the Falcons’ win over the San Francisco 49ers. Leading the group was QB Marcus Mariota, who passed for 129 yards and two touchdowns.

The Falcons have a bright future with Mariota under center. If they can play better defense, they should get a few more wins under their belt. 

The 49ers had a tough time getting their offense off the ground in Week 6. Jimmy Garoppolo passed for 296 yards and two touchdowns.

Although he had a fairly good game, the 49ers’ defense didn’t. They’ll hope to do better in Week 7 as they prepare to face the Kansas City Chiefs.

New York Jets vs. Green Bay Packers – 27-10 (Jets)

Another upset definitely worth talking about is how the New York Jets beat the Green Bay Packers. This 27-10 victory by the Jets improved their record to 4-2, and they have a 3-0 record on the road.

New York is playing remarkably well, and they’ll face the Denver Broncos this week. At the moment, they rank second in the AFC East, just behind the Buffalo Bills.

It might be time to start worrying about the Green Bay Packers, who are 3-3 at the moment. Their offense has looked awful this year, and we’re not sure there’s a remedy for the situation. They’ll face the Washington Commanders in Week 7, a more favorable matchup.
