As we are heading into the beginning of December, we are beginning to see which teams are good and which were just some media hype. Today, we have five games throughout the second half of the week that we will dive into. Let’s talk some hockey and determine where we should be leaning in these specific games.

Two Struggling Teams in the Matchup Penguins vs Canucks

The Penguins and the Canucks have had a few days off before this game as they last played on Wednesday. Both Pittsburgh and Vancouver are struggling to cover the spread, so that we will dive into the over/under for this game. 

The Penguins are 10-10 with the over-hitting, while the Canucks are 7-13 with the over-hitting here. Neither offense has been elite as of late as Pittsburgh is averaging 2.6 goals in the last five games while Vancouver is scoring 1.6 goals in that same stretch. Both Jarry and Demko have been playing pretty well themselves so go with the under to hit in this game.
