NFL Week 8 Betting Recap
We are approaching the halfway point in the 2021 NFL regular season. Week 8 was one for the ages, with backup quarterbacks winning games, massive upsets, and plenty of heartbreak for betting.
Here is your Week 8 recap!
Packers Money Line
Hey bookies, do not make Aaron Rodgers an underdog because he will prevail. The Green Bay Packers entered Arizona as six-point underdogs. They did not have Allen Lazard or Devante Adams, which many people thought would handicap Rodgers.
However, this did not happen, and the Packers ran to victory. A.J. Dillon carried the ball 16 times for 78 yards, and Aaron Jones was the leading receiver with seven catches for 51 yards. This was the Cardinals’ first loss of the regular season.
New Orleans Saints Trevor Siemian
Jameis Winston tore his ACL in Sunday’s game against the Buccaneers. You would think this would have made Tom Brady’s job simple. Although, Tampa Bay was unable to cover, and they were bested 36-27 by New Orleans.
Trevor Siemian came in off the bench and threw for 159 yards with one touchdown. Brady had 375 yards and four touchdowns, but he threw a pick-six at the end, which iced the game for New Orleans.
