Philadelphia Eagles Betting Odds 21-22 Season

Last season the Philadelphia Eagles had their worst win/loss record since 2012, going 4-11-1. The Eagles parted ways with head coach Doug Pederson in January, and quarterback Carson Wentz was dealt to the Colts after struggling immensely in 2020-2021. It was the Eagles’ first losing campaign since 2016, when they went 7-9.

If you bet on the Eagles, they were only 5-11 against the spread last season. In terms of the total, Philadelphia covered the over a mere six times.

Jalen Hurts will be the starting QB for the Eagles going forward, and general manager Howie Roseman hooked him up with a former Alabama teammate at the draft. Heisman-winning receiver DeVonta Smith was taken with the 10th overall pick, and he has the potential to be an absolute gamechanger. Smith went off in the SEC last season, accumulating nearly 2,000 receiving yards and hauling in 23 touchdowns with the Crimson Tide.

In free agency, the Eagles signed safety Anthony Harris to replace Jalen Mills. Harris was tied for most interceptions in the NFL back in 2019 as a member of the Vikings. Philly also added former Steelers corner Steven Nelson and linebacker Eric Wilson.

Four-time Pro Bowl edge rusher Ryan Kerrigan joined the Eagles’ already impressive front-seven that includes the likes of Brandon Graham and Fletcher Cox. Kerrigan has 95.5 career sacks over his time spent in Washington and has always been a durable ironman that you can count on to start every week. Veteran wide receivers Alshon Jeffery and DeSean Jackson were not re-signed in the offseason.

Action 247 Sportsbook has the Eagles over/under for wins this season set at 6.5. Philadelphia has the worst odds to win the NFC East at +475 and are listed at +7900 to win Super Bowl 56.
