Golden State Warriors at Atlanta Hawks
The Golden State Warriors continue their trip out east as they take on the Atlanta Hawks this evening. The Warriors have been playing excellent basketball as they are 48-25 this year. The Hawks have struggled a little this season as they are just 36-37. The Warriors are 19-16 on the road, while the Hawks are 23-14 on their home floor. This shows that the Warriors are not that great on the road, and the Hawks have been solid at home. Both teams are pretty much fully healthy here. Take the Hawks to cover the -2 point spread.
Dallas Mavericks at Minnesota Timberwolves
The Dallas Mavericks are slated to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves this evening in a very hotly contested game. The Mavericks are 45-26 on the season, while the Timberwolves are 42-32. These teams are fighting for position in the Western Conference as Minnesota is seventh, and Dallas is fifth. This game will be an excellent game that both teams would like to win to secure better seeding in the NBA playoffs. Karl Anthony-Towns is day-to-day with an injury, but all signs point to him playing. Take the Mavericks to cover the +2 spread on the road.
Philadelphia 76ers at Los Angeles Clippers
The Philadelphia 76ers continue their west coast swing as they take on the Los Angeles Clippers. The 76ers have had a great year this season as they sit at 45-27 and are third in the Eastern Conference. This year, the Clippers have struggled due to injuries and find themselves at 36-38. The season has not been kind to the Clippers, but they are still in shape for a bid into the playoffs. This game will show if the Clippers are going to be able to hang with the tougher teams in the league. Take the 76ers to cover the -5.5 point spread.
The Pittsburgh Penguins head over to take on the New York Rangers in what is going to be a terrific hockey contest. The Penguins are 39-16-10 on the season and are playing very good hockey right now as they have won three of their last five games. The Rangers are also playing very well this season as they are 40-19-5 on the season and are also 3-2 in their last five games this month. The Penguins are second in the Metropolitan Division, while the Rangers are third. Take the Penguins to cover the -1.5 puck line.
The Washington Capitals take on the Buffalo Sabres this evening in an interesting matchup. The Capitals are 35-20-10 on the season thus far, while the Sabres are 23-33-8. The Capitals are going to look to notch another away victory this evening as they are 20-7-5 on the road this season. The Sabres are 12-16-4 at home this season and have performed poorly in front of their fans. Look for these teams to have a quality hockey game tonight before the favorites pull away. Take the Capitals to cover the -1.5 puck line.
The Philadelphia Flyers take on the Colorado Avalanche tonight in a game that probably should not be too competitive. The Flyers are 21-32-11 on the season, while the Avalanche are 45-14-5. The Flyers are winners of three of the last five, while the Avalanche just had a winning streak broken. Look for the Flyers to try and grasp some momentum in this one, but I think the Avalanche are just going to be too strong for them. Take the Avalanche to cover the -1.5 puck line.
Enjoy the games! Best of luck!!
