Preseason Recap Packers vs Chiefs and Bills vs Panthers

NFL Preseason Week 3 Recap

We had a huge amount of impressive bouts during the second week of preseason football in the NFL.

Let’s take a look at a few NFL games that stuck out to us, along with a few players. We’ll also look at a few NFL teams that failed to cover the spread during Week 3.

Green Bay Packers at Kansas City Chiefs (17-10 Chiefs)

This game was pretty straightforward forward, but there are a few things to point out. For starters, Jordan Love had a rough game, going 16-26 with 148 yards and an interception.

The Packers’ defense slowed down the Chiefs, but their offense couldn’t capitalize. Now, they head into the regular season after going 1-2 during the preseason.

The Kansas City Cheifs had a great game, even if they didn’t put up a lot of points. Shane Buechele had a strong performance, throwing for 166 yards and two touchdowns.

The Chiefs are rolling as they head into the regular season. They also were able to cover the spread on this game as they came in as underdogs.

Buffalo Bills at Carolina Panthers (21-0 Panthers)panthers vs bills nfl football betting

The most shocking game of Week 3 was the one between the Buffalo Bills and Carolina Panthers. The Bills’ offense went scoreless as the Panthers’ defense shut down the pass and the running game.

Matt Barkley, who came in as quarterback, went 9 for 13 with 100 yards. As a team, the Buffalo Bills were only able to earn 191 total yards.

Baker Mayfield spent some time on the field in Week 3 of the preseason. He went 9-15, throwing for 89 yards and two touchdowns. Mayfield played incredibly well, proving he deserves to be the starter.

The Carolina offense had no turnovers and earned 238 total yards. The Panthers were also 5.5-point favorites and easily covered the spread.
