The Utah Jazz Hit the Road to Battle With the Golden State Warriors
The Utah Jazz and the Golden State Warriors will face each other again as we approach the playoffs. As it stands right now, the Jazz has the fifth spot in the conference, and the Warriors sit at No.3. Only a few games are separating the two teams, though, which will definitely make this game interesting. Another big factor is all of the injuries that both teams have suffered.
The Golden State Warriors continue to see their injury list grow, adding Klay Thompson and Draymond Green. They’ve already lost Stephen Curry, and now the other two titans of the team will be out as well. With so much on the line, it’s tough to see the Warriors succumb to injuries right now. Still, the game must be played, and only one team can come out on top in this one.
Game Preview: Utah Jazz at Golden State Warriors Game Preview
The Utah Jazz has a few key injuries as well, with Bojan Bogdanovic and Hassan Whiteside out. Not only them, Rudy Gobert is currently on the “day-to-day” list, but is expected to take the court on Saturday. At the time of writing, the Jazz has lost four straight games, barely scoring over 100 points in each game. With how much trouble they’ve had, it’s hard to see them doing better.
The good news for the Jazz is they’re playing a banged-up Warriors team missing its best players. Because of this, the Jazz have an instant advantage over the Warriors. Still, even with this advantage, you can’t count the Warriors out. In a recent win over the Miami Heat, the Warriors put up 118 points. Jordan Poole took a larger role in this game, scoring 30 on his own.
Utah Jazz at Golden State Warriors Betting Prediction
These two teams played recently when Golden State was dealing with injuries. The Jazz’s offense easily overwhelmed the Warriors and won the game, 111-85. The question now is whether or not this will happen again? With how the Jazz has been playing, we think this game could be much more competitive. In fact, we’d take the Warriors depending on the spread.
The last time these teams played, the Jazz was only favored by a point. This time, it should be a much different spread and see the Jazz favored by 8.5 or more. The Warriors have struggled to keep games close, but we have to remember that both teams are injured. Because of this, we think we’ll see players like Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins really step up on Saturday.
Now, as we said, picking the Warriors here really depends on the points spread. The heavier they are as underdogs, the better. They were +10 in their game against Miami, we’re hoping for a spread of that size in this game. We’d also recommend taking the over since three of the Warriors’ last four have gone over.
