It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look at the top five games on Monday’s schedule.

Kansas City Royals vs. St. Louis Cardinals – 1:15 PM ET

The first game of the day takes place between the Kansas City Royals and St. Louis Cardinals. The Royals have a record of 7-13 with a 2-5 record on the road this season. Making the start at pitcher is Zack Greinke, who is 0-1 this season with an ERA of 2.86. The Royals’ main goal tonight would be keeping Nolan Arenado of the Cardinals in check.

Arenado has a batting average of .368 and has hit six home runs this season. As a team, the Cardinals have a batting average of .237, ranking 13th in MLB. As they prepare for the Royals they’ll send the 2-1 Steven Matz to the mound. St. Louis comes into this game at -165 and we think they’re the best pick.

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Miami Marlins – 6:40 PM ET

Jumping forward in the day, the Diamondbacks face off against the Marlins. Making his first start of the year for Arizona is Zac Gallen, who has pitched 15 innings this season. Gallen has allowed just six hits in those 15 innings and thrown 14 strikeouts. Tonight, two strong pitchers will face each other.

The Miami Marlins will start the 3-0 Pablo Lopez, who has pitched 23.1 innings. Lopez has thrown 23 strikeouts but has allowed 13 hits in those 23.1 innings. The batting of the Marlins is leagues above the Diamondbacks, which is where the difference lies. The Diamondbacks have a team average of .181 compared to the Marlins’ .237.

Atlanta Braves vs. New York Mets – 7:10 PM ET

The Atlanta Braves are 10-13 this year but have lost their last two games. With their series against the Mets starting today, they come in at -110. On the mound is Max Fried, the 2-2 LHP starting pitcher that has thrown 24 innings this season. The Braves will need a lot of help from their batters here as they face Chris Bassitt.

Bassitt is one of the Mets’ best starting pitchers, who is 3-1 this season. Throwing 26 strikeouts in 24 innings pitched is no easy feat. Another area where the Mets excel is at the plate, with a team batting average of .262. The Mets are second in the league in this category and should win tonight.

Seattle Mariners vs. Houston Astros – 8:10 PM ET

Moving further into the night we’ll see the Mariners take on the Astros. Seattle is 12-10 this season but has a 5-8 record on the road. Marco Gonzales is on the mound tonight for the Mariners, Gonzales is 1-2 this season as a starting pitcher. The Mariners will need to lean on batting in order to win this game tonight.

The Houston Astros will start Jake Odorizzi tonight, who is also 1-2. Perhaps the most shocking statistic for the Astros is their lackluster team batting average. This season, the Astros have a team batting average of .214, ranking 26th in MLB. Still, we see the Astros coming away with a win tonight.

Tampa Bay Rays vs. Oakland Athletics – 9:40 PM ET

The final game of the night will take place pretty late into the evening. However, watching the Tampa Bay Rays vs. Oakland Athletics will be worth it. The Rays are 12-10 this season but have lost their last two games. The 1-1 Drew Rasmussen will get the start on the mound for the Rays tonight.

On the opposite side, the Athletics have lost four of their last five games. They still have a record of 10-12, but the losses are starting to add up. Unfortunately for them, we see them taking another loss as they put Daulton Jefferies on the mound. Jefferies is 1-3 this season, allowing 16 hits in 19.1 innings pitched.
