It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on the top five games on Tuesday’s schedule.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Cincinnati Reds – 6:40 PM ET

The series between the Philadelphia Phillies and Cincinnati Reds continues tonight. Yesterday, the Phillies pulled off a 4-3 win over the Reds, increasing their record to 64-51. On the mound tonight is Kyle Gibson, one of the Phillies best pitchers. Gibson has a record of 7-5 with a 4.29 ERA this season. His ERA might not be the best but it’s not nearly as bad as T.J. Zeuch.

The starting pitcher for the Reds tonight is T.J. Zeuch, who is 0-1 this season. His record isn’t bothersome but his 13.50 ERA is definitely a cause for concern. Zeuch has pitched only four innings, allowing 6 hits and a home run in that time. Perhaps it was just a bad game but we’ll take the Phillies -190 here.

Boston Red Sox vs. Pittsburgh Pirates – 7:05 PM ET

Ranking fifth in the AL East, the Boston Red Sox has a record of 57-59. Last night, they were able to take down the New York Yankees to close the series with a win. Tonight, they’ll face the 45-70 Pittsburgh Pirates, a favorable matchup for them. Boston will send out SP Nick Pivetta tonight, with a record of 8-9. Pivetta’s ERA of 4.51 isn’t good but it’ll have to do.

The Red Sox aren’t necessarily known for great pitching. It’s their .253 batting average that makes them stand out. The Pirates are starting Mitch Keller, who is 4-8 as a starter with an ERA of 4.25 this season. Pittsburgh has lost four straight games and we think it’ll increase to five tonight. We’ll go with the Boston Red Sox on the road -145.

New York Mets vs. Atlanta Braves – 7:20 PM ET

The New York Mets have a record of 75-41 after last night’s 13-1 loss to the Atlanta Braves. They still have a hold of the NL East but the Braves are catching up. The Mets will have one of their best pitchers on the mound tonight, Taijuan Walker. With a 10-3 record and an ERA of 3.43, the Mets are trying to prevent a repeat of last night.

The Atlanta Braves are a strong batting team with an average of .252. Putting up 13 runs against the Mets is a tall task but they pulled it off. The Braves also have a 38-22 record at home this season and an overall record of 71-46. We think the Braves will close the gap even further tonight with a win at home -145.

Colorado Rockies vs. St. Louis Cardinals – 7:45 PM ET

The Colorado Rockies have an unfortunate record of 51-66 and rank fifth in the NL West. Tonight, they can try to add a win under their belt when they face the St. Louis Cardinals. Kyle Freeland, who is 7-8 this season, will get the start for the Rockies tonight. Freeland has an ERA of 4.84 and has allowed 137 hits in 124.2 innings pitched.

The St. Louis Cardinals are sending out Jose Quintana, who is 4-5 with an ERA of 3.37 this season. The area where the Rockies actually have the edge is at the plate. This season, the Rockies have a batting average of .263, which is rather impressive. However, with Quintana on the mound, we think the Cardinals will still win this one at -235.

Houston Astros vs. Chicago White Sox – 8:10 PM ET

The final game we’re going to go over is the Houston Astros at Chicago White Sox. After winning four games in a row, the Astros finally lost and it was to the White Sox. A 4-2 loss ended a streak that many thought would go on for a while. Still, the Astros lead the AL West with a record of 75-42. Tonight will be all about the pitchers as Justin Verlander gets the start.

Verlander has a record of 15-3 this season with an ERA of 1.85. The Chicago White Sox are sending out Dylan Cease, who has a 12-5 record and an ERA of 1.96. Solely from a pitching standpoint, this might be the most entertaining game of the day. Statistically, the White Sox have an edge at the plate but we think Houston wins tonight -125.
