It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on the top five games on Saturday’s schedule.

Milwaukee Brewers vs. Chicago Cubs – 2:20 PM ET

Our first game of the day will feature the Milwaukee Brewers facing the Chicago Cubs. The Brewers, with a record of 63-55 this season, rank second in the NL Central. Today, they’ll continue their series against the Cubs after losing 8-7 last night. On the mound for Milwaukee is Freddy Peralta, who is 4-3 with an ERA of 4.21 this season.

The Chicago Cubs will send out Marcus Stroman, who is 3-5 with a 3.96 ERA this year. Although his record might not be impressive, he’s kept his ERA under 4.00. The Cubs have a better batting group than the Brewers as well, with an average of .244. Compared to the Brewers, .236, the Cubs have the advantage here. We’ll take Chicago at -105 tonight.

Boston Red Sox vs. Baltimore Orioles – 4:05 PM ET

Both the Boston Red Sox and the Baltimore Orioles are trying to move up in the AL East. The Red Sox rank fifth in the division with a record of 59-61. The Orioles rank fourth with a record of 62-57 after last night’s 15-10 win over Boston. Getting the start for the Red Sox tonight is the 7-1 Michael Wacha, who has an ERA of 2.44.

With Wacha on the mound for the Red Sox, they come in as -125 favorites. It’s also important to remember that the Red Sox have a team batting average of .254. The Orioles, on the other hand, have a team batting average of .239, which is far worse. They’ll send out the 1-4 Kyle Bradish, so we’ll take the Red Sox on the road -125.

Cincinnati Reds vs. Pittsburgh Pirates – 7:05 PM ET

The series between the Cincinnati Reds and Pittsburgh Pirates continues tonight. The Reds, with a record of 46-71, lost yesterday’s game 5-4. Their hopes of bouncing back tonight are slim with Justin Dunn on the mound. Dunn has a 0-1 record with an 8.64 ERA this season. Something the Reds desperately need to address is their pitching situation.

The Pittsburgh Pirates come into this game as -140 favorites and for good reason. Not only did they secure the win last night but they’re starting a better pitcher. Tyler Beede, although 1-2 this season, has a far better ERA than Dunn at 3.72. With Dunn on the mound for the Reds, the Pirates are the better pick here at -140.

Houston Astros vs. Atlanta Braves – 7:15 PM ET

As the Houston Astros prepare to take the field tonight, they’ll try to wash away Game 1 of this series. Yesterday ended in a 6-2 loss for the Astros, the best team in the AL West. With a 77-44 record, the Astros are going to send out Cristian Javier, one of their better pitchers. Javier has an under .500 record of 7-8 but has an ERA of 2.96, which is rather impressive.

The Atlanta Braves won’t surrender the second game of this series without a fight. They’re sending out Spencer Strider, a 7-4 RHP with an ERA of 3.04 this year. At the plate, the Braves have a slight advantage over the Astros. The Braves are batting .253 as a team compared to the Astros average of .246. We’ll take the Braves at home again in Game 2 -165.

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Arizona Diamondbacks – 8:10 PM ET

Our final game of the night is between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Cardinals come into this game as -145 favorites and are up 1-0 in the series. In fact, the Cardinals have won five of their last five games and they’ll look to extend the streak tonight. On the mound for St. Louis is Dakota Hudson, who is 6-6 with an ERA of 4.17 this season.

The Arizona Diamondbacks will send out the 6-12 Madison Bumgarner tonight. Right-handers have hit 15 home runs against Bumgarner this season resulting in a 4.37 ERA. In total, Bumgarner has given up 17 home runs in 127.2 innings. The Cardinals are also a much better team at the plate, making them the better choice at -145.
