It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on the top five games on Saturday’s schedule.

Los Angeles Angels vs. Seattle Mariners – 4:10 PM ET

The Los Angeles Angels rank fourth in the AL West with a record of 45-61. It’s been a tough season for the Angels but they’re coming off a 4-3 win over the Mariners. With yesterday’s 10th inning win, the Angels should have high spirits heading into this game. They’ve yet to decide their pitcher for tonight’s game but the focal point should be on batting.

The Seattle Mariners will start the 7-8 Chris Flexen. Flexen has had a pretty average season with an ERA of 3.73. At the plate, the Mariners have a slight edge over the Angels with an average of .233. Considering the struggles the Angels have had, the Mariners should be able to come away with this one. We’ll take the Mariners at home tonight.

Washington Nationals vs. Philadelphia Phillies – 6:05 PM ET

With a record of 36-72, the Washington Nationals have had a rough season. Ranking fifth in the NL East, they’ll face off against the 58-48 Philadelphia Phillies again tonight. The last two games have resulted in losses for the Nationals. Yesterday’s 7-2 loss was an indication of what could potentially happen today with Patrick Corbin on the mound.

Corbin has a record of 4-15 this season with an ERA of 6.57. He’s pitched 109.2 innings, allowing 156 hits and 19 home runs. Against the Phillies batters, Corbin could find himself in a lot of trouble early in this game. As a team, the Phillies have an average of .247 with an on-base percentage of .311. The home team is the best bet here, we’ll take the Phillies at -260.

Atlanta Braves vs. New York Mets – 7:10 PM ET

This will be the second game of the day between the Braves and the Mets. Coming in as +110 underdogs is the 64-43 Atlanta Braves. Max Fried will get the start on the mound tonight, Fried has a record of 10-3 this season. With an ERA of 2.58, you would think the pitching advantage goes to Fried but that’s not the case.

The New York Mets are sending out the 7-2 Max Scherzer who has an ERA of 2.13 this season. With Scherzer on the mound the Mets have a good chance of taking this game. They have a significant edge on the Braves in terms of batting as well. With an average of .258, the Mets should be able to come away with a win at home -130.

Cincinnati Reds vs. Milwaukee Brewers – 7:15 PM ET

The Cincinnati Reds have lost their last two games, one of which to the Milwaukee Brewers. Yesterday’s game against Milwaukee resulted in a 5-1 loss, bringing the Reds’ record to 42-63. SP Nick Lodolo (3-3) will try to get his team a win on the road tonight. It’s going to be tough considering Lodolo has an ERA of 4.23 and the Brewers have some great batters.

The Milwaukee Brewers have a record of 58-48 this season and are 27-20 at home. Many may believe that the Brewers have this game in the bag but we’d disagree. Taking the mound tonight is Aaron Ashby. Ashby has a 2-9 record as a starter this season with a 4.13 ERA. This could be the perfect chance for the Reds to pull off an upset so we’ll go with Cincinnati +158.

New York Yankees vs. St. Louis Cardinals – 7:15 PM ET

Our final game of the day is between the New York Yankees and St. Louis Cardinals. The Yankees, with a record of 70-37, are the first-place team in the American League. However, three recent losses have seen the Houston Astros nearly tie them for the spot. To get back on track, the Yankees need a win but tonight, they’re in a bad spot.

The rotation for the New York Yankees will see Domingo German take the mound tonight. German has a record of 1-1 this season with an ERA of 6.39. It would seem that New York will need to rely on their batters when they face the Cardinals. St. Louis has a pretty great batting group as well considering they average .252. We’ll have to take the Cardinals -110 here.
