It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on the top five games on Tuesday’s schedule.

Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Miami Marlins – 6:40 PM ET

The Pittsburgh Pirates are 37-50 this season before they face the Miami Marlins tonight. Yesterday’s game went well for them, beating Miami 5-1. Lead by their batters, the Pirates were able to get out to a lead and hold off the Marlins. On the mound for Pittsburgh is Chris Stratton, who is 5-4 with a 5.14 ERA. The Pirates as a team are batting .222 this season.

The Miami Marlins, on paper, are a much better team than the Pirates. They have a record of 41-44, under .500, but not as bad as Pittsburgh. They also statistically have a better batting team, with a team batting average of .241. On the mound tonight is Daniel Castano, who has a 1-2 record as a starter. The Marlins are the better team, so we’ll take them at home -155.

Cincinnati Reds vs. New York Yankees – 7:05 PM ET

The Cincinnati Reds have won four straight games bringing their record to 32-54. Three of those four games were against the Tampa Bay Rays, an AL East team. Today, they begin another series against the best AL East team, the New York Yankees. Graham Ashcraft (4-2) will get the start tonight. Ashcraft and his 4.35 ERA will have his work cut out for him against New York.

The Yankees are sending out one of their best to deal with the Reds batters. Gerrit Cole (8-2) will get the nod tonight with an ERA of 3.26. These teams are fairly even in terms of batting average with the Yankees at .245 and the Reds at .240. However, the Yankees are 34-9 at home, so we’ll take them -320.

New York Mets vs. Atlanta Braves – 7:20 PM ET

Beginning shortly after the first game is one between the New York Mets and Atlanta Braves. The Mets are 54-33, with a 26-18 record on the road this season. Yesterday, the Mets earned a 4-1 victory over the Atlanta Braves. Tonight, the 5-1 David Peterson will get the start and boasts an ERA of 3.48. The Mets also have a team batting average of .255 this season.

The Atlanta Braves have a record of 52-36 this season, nearly the same as the Mets. Spencer Strider will get the start for the Braves tonight. Strider has a record of 4-2 this season with an impressive 2.60 ERA. Although Strider has put together a few impressive games, we’ll take the road team at +140.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. St. Louis Cardinals – 7:45 PM ET

The game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and St. Louis Cardinals should be an entertaining one. The Dodgers are coming off of a huge 11-9 victory over the Chicago Cubs, marking seven straight wins. Mitch White (1-1), will get the start on the mound tonight. We haven’t seen much of White but his ERA is 3.38 over 40 innings.

The St. Louis Cardinals are also sending out a fresher pitcher. Matthew Liberatore, who is 2-1 with an ERA of 4.74, has only pitched 24.2 innings this season. The Dodgers are .253 as a team in terms of batting averages. We believe that Liberatore will have a tough time dealing with those bats tonight. We’ll take the Dodgers on the road at -145.

Oakland Athletics vs. Texas Rangers – 8:05 PM ET

The final game we’re going to take a look at is the Oakland Athletics at Texas Rangers. The Athletics are 29-59 this season with an 18-28 record on the road. James Kaprielian will get the start on the mound tonight with a 1-5 record. His record, along with his 5.06 ERA is quite disappointing. However, the Rangers aren’t starting someone much better than Kaprielian.

Texas will send out Glenn Otto when the game kicks off tonight. Otto has a 4-5 record as a starter and although he has more wins than Kaprielian, he has a worse ERA (5.26). The Rangers do, however, have a much better batting team than the Athletics. With the team batting .240, we’ll take the Rangers to win at home -170.
