It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on the top five games on Saturday’s schedule.

Houston Astros vs. Seattle Mariners – 4:10 PM ET

The Houston Astros have a record of 62-32, leading the AL West. They face the Mariners again this afternoon after winning 5-2 yesterday. With last night’s win, Houston extended their lead to 11 games. On the mound for the Astros tonight is Justin Verlander, who is 12-3 as a starter. His ERA of 1.89 should do the trick against the Mariners batters tonight.

The Seattle Mariners aren’t starting a slouch on the mound either. With Logan Gilbert getting the start, the Mariners are sending out a 10-3 starting pitcher. Gilbert has an ERA of 2.76 over the course of 111.0 innings. Whoever wins the pitching battle will likely win this game and we think it’ll be the Astros.

Chicago Cubs vs. Philadelphia Phillies – 6:05 PM ET

Chicago has lost three of its last five games but has won two in a row. Tonight, the Cubs will face off against the Phillies, a team they beat 15-2 yesterday. The biggest problem for the Cubs tonight is who they’ll have on the mound. Getting the start is the 2-5 Marcus Stroman, who has really struggled this year. Stroman has an ERA of 4.69 over the span of 55.2 innings.

The Philadelphia Phillies will send out Zack Wheeler to start today’s game. Wheeler is 8-5 this season with an ERA of 2.89. The Phillies have the edge on the mound tonight, that much is certain. At the plate, the Cubs have a slight advantage with a batting average of .246. However, that shouldn’t make much of a difference today, we’ll take the Phillies -170.

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Cincinnati Reds – 6:40 PM ET

Yesterday’s game between the Cardinals and the Reds ended in a loss for St. Louis. The Cardinals lead the series 2-1 as we head into Game 4. Getting the nod to start today is Steven Matz, who has a 3-3 record as a starter. Matz has an ERA of 6.03 but surprisingly his ERA is still better than the Reds starter.

The Cincinnati Reds are starting the 1-6 Mike Minor in tonight’s game. Minor has an ERA of 6.21 over the course of 42.0 innings. With Minor on the mound, the Reds don’t have a great chance to win this game. The Cardinals also have a sizable advantage at the plate with a .251 batting average. We’ll go with the Cardinals to win this one at -160.

San Diego Padres vs. New York Mets – 7:10 PM ET

Both the San Deigo Padres and New York Mets are among the best teams in the league. The Padres were able to take down the Mets last night 4-1. This was even with New York having one of their best pitchers on the mound. Speaking of pitchers, San Diego will send out Blake Snell, who is 1-5 with an ERA of 5.22 this season.

The New York Mets will send out Chris Bassitt, who is 7-6 with a 3.79 ERA. The Mets clearly have an edge on the mound in this one but what about at the plate. The Padres have a team batting average of .241 while the Mets have a .251. With the Mets having the advantage at the plate and on the mound, we’ll take them -160.

Los Angeles Angels vs. Atlanta Braves – 7:20 PM ET

The Los Angeles Angels have lost three games in a row after last night’s loss to the Braves. Unfortunately, even with Shohei Ohtani on the mound, they couldn’t get it together. Now, the Angels find themselves at 39-54 with Patrick Sandoval getting the start tonight. Sandoval has a 3-5 record with an ERA of 3.00 over the span of 81 innings.

For the Atlanta Braves, tonight is business as usual. They’ve won four of their last five and have a record of 57-38 this season. On the mound is Kyle Wright, who is 11-4 this season with an ERA of 2.95. With Wright on the mound and the Braves having a notable edge at the plate, we’ll go with Atlanta -210.
