It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on the top five games on Saturday’s schedule.

Detroit Tigers vs. Toronto Blue Jays – 3:07 PM ET

To begin our best bets for Saturday, we’ll go over the game between the Detroit Tigers and Toronto Blue Jays. The Detroit Tigers have a record of 41-60 this season and have won three of their last five. Yesterday, they were able to even the series against the Blue Jays with a 4-2 win. They’ll start the 1-1 Drew Hutchison, who has an ERA of 4.84 over the span of 44.2 innings.

Having Hutchinson on the mound swings the advantage to the Toronto Blue Jays. Toronto is sending out Ross Stripling, who is 5-3 this season with an ERA of 3.10. The Blue Jays also have one of the best batting teams in the league with an average of .267. Between these two, the best bet is easily the Toronto Blue Jays at -305.

Milwaukee Brewers vs. Boston Red Sox – 4:10 PM ET

The Milwaukee Brewers head into this game with a 1-0 lead in the series. They’ve won three games in a row with notable wins over the Minnesota Twins and Boston Red Sox. As they head into Game 2 of this series, the Brewers will start the 6-3 Eric Lauer. Lauer has an ERA of 3.84 and has a strong group of batters behind him as well.

The Boston Red Sox are no slouch when it comes to their prowess at the plate. This season, the Red Sox have a batting average of .254 and an on-base percentage of .315. The problem is they’ll have the 8-7 Nick Pivetta on the mound tonight. Pivetta has an ERA of 4.35 this season and could struggle against the Brewers bats. We’ll go with the Milwaukee Brewers -110.

Baltimore Orioles vs. Cincinnati Reds – 6:40 PM ET

The Baltimore Orioles kicked off this series with a huge 6-2 win over the Cincinnati Reds. Now, they’ll look to extend their series lead even further. Dean Kremer will get the start for the Orioles tonight, Kremer is 3-2 with a 3.06 ERA. Although they’re fourth in the AL East, the Orioles have won four of their last five games.

After yesterday’s loss, the record for the Cincinnati Reds was brought down to 38-61. They’ll hope to bounce back tonight by starting the 4-7 Tyler Mahle. Mahle doesn’t have the best record and his ERA of 4.48 leaves much to be desired. The Reds batting has also been lackluster lately, so we’ll take the Orioles again -110.

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Washington Nationals – 7:15 PM ET

With a record of 53-47, the St. Louis Cardinals rank second in the NL Central. Last night’s game against the Nationals ended in a 6-2 victory for the Cardinals. As a team, St. Louis is batting .251 with an on-base percentage of .321. Taking the mound tonight is Dakota Hudson who is 6-6 this season with an ERA of 4.10.

It would seem that everything is lining up for the Cardinals to win this game. However, the Nationals also have some notable wins under their belt. In their series against the Dodgers, the Washington Nationals won 2-1. Erick Fedde will get the start for them tonight, Fedde has a record of 5-7. Although their pitching is questionable, we’ll go with the underdog Nationals +122.

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Atlanta Braves – 7:20 PM ET

The Arizona Diamondbacks have won three of their last five games. The notable wins include the 3-0 sweep of the San Francisco Giants. Corbin Martin will take the mound for the Diamondbacks today with an ERA of 3.93. Batting is our biggest concern for the Diamondbacks as they have an average of .226 this season.

The Atlanta Braves are one of the best teams in the National League. With a record of 60-41, they currently rank second in the NL East. On the mound tonight is Ian Anderson, who is 8-6 as a starter. Anderson’s record doesn’t concern us nearly as much as his 5.31 ERA does. Still, the Braves are the better team to bet on here at -225.
