It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on the top five games on Sunday’s schedule.

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Boston Red Sox – 1:35 PM ET

The first game we’ll look at today is the St. Louis Cardinals at the Boston Red Sox. The Cardinals have a record of 38-29 this season with a 17-16 record on the road. Tonight, they face the Red Sox again after beating them 11-2 yesterday. On the mound tonight is Andre Pallante, who has a 2-1 record as a starter with a 1.46 ERA.

On the opposite side of him is Nick Pivetta, who has done a lot better recently. Pivetta has a record of 6-5 this season with an ERA of 3.50. Where the Red Sox usually excel is in terms of batting. However, they struggled yesterday to get runners on base. As a team, the Red Sox are batting .257 this season. We’ll take the Red Sox to win this one today at -150.

Milwaukee Brewers vs. Cincinnati Reds – 1:40 PM ET

The Brewers have beaten the Reds in two straight games. Today, they’ll look to add another win under their belt. Yesterday, they took the Reds down 7-3, led by home runs from Hunter Renfrow and Willy Adames. The 3-7 Adrian Houser will get the start for the Brewers tonight with an ERA of 4.21. This could be the game that the Reds actually come out on top.

The Cincinnati Reds have a record of 23-42 with a 12-19 record at home this season. On the mound for them tonight is Mike Minor, who has a 1-2 record as a starter. Minor’s ERA is a lot worse than Houser’s at 7.36. Since pitching will likely be a problem for the Reds tonight, we’ll take the Brewers on the road at -140.

Atlanta Braves vs. Chicago Cubs – 2:20 PM ET

The Braves face the Cubs again today after having lost two straight games. Yesterday, the Braves lost 6-3 after their pitching failed to slow down the Cubs batters. Tonight, the 5-3 Ian Anderson will get the start on the mound. Anderson has an ERA of 4.81 this season and has done pretty well in terms of wins.

The Cubs, however, have a fairly strong group of batters that are hitting .243 this season. On the mound for the Cubs today is Kyle Hendricks, who has a record of 2-5. With a record that falls well below .500, we’re a bit worried about the Cubs today. Hendricks has an ERA of 4.95, only slightly worse than Anderson. Still, the Braves are the better bet at -160.

San Diego Padres vs. Colorado Rockies – 3:10 PM ET

An afternoon game that’ll definitely receive a lot of attention is the Padres versus the Rockies. The San Diego Padres have a 41-26 record and rank second in the NL West. They’ve already beaten the Rockies twice in the series and are now searching for the third. However, the Padres will start the 0-3 Blake Snell tonight, which could spell trouble.

The Colorado Rockies are sending out Antonio Senzatela to the mound. Senzatela has a record of 2-3 this season with an ERA of 4.79. His ERA is slightly better than Snell’s who has a 5.04 ERA. The Rockies also have an edge when it comes to batting with a team batting average of .260. So, with that in mind, we’ll take the underdogs here with the Rockies +120.

Cleveland Guardians vs. Los Angeles Dodgers – 4:10 PM ET

The final game that we’ll be reviewing is the Cleveland Guardians at Los Angeles Dodgers. This series has been a back and forth one that is currently tied at 1-1. Prior to the Guardians’ loss to the Dodgers yesterday, they had won five games in a row. Shane Bieber will get the start tonight with an ERA of 3.01.

The Dodgers will send Andrew Heaney out to the mound tonight. Heaney has pitched just 10.1 innings this year and has a record of 1-0. One of the main things to pay attention to here is the batting battle. As a team, the Dodgers have a team batting average of .247, which is the same as the Guardians. Since the Dodgers are at home, we’ll take them tonight at -165.
