It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on the top five games on Tuesday’s schedule.

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Cincinnati Reds – 6:40 PM ET

We’ll begin our day by looking at the Arizona Diamondbacks versus the Cincinnati Reds. The Diamondbacks, have lost three games in a row, the most recent one being to the Reds. After a 7-0 loss, they’ll look to bounce back with Tyler Gilbert on the mound tonight. Gilbert has an 0-2 record as a starter with an ERA of 5.02.

With Gilbert on the mound, the Diamondbacks are already at a disadvantage. Taking the mound for the Reds tonight is Graham Ashcraft, who is 2-0 with an ERA of 1.53. The Reds don’t only have the advantage in terms of pitching, but batting too. As a team, the Reds average is .234 at the plate compared to Arizona’s .214. Take the Reds to win tonight -135.

Chicago Cubs vs. Baltimore Orioles – 7:05 PM ET

The next game we’ll look at is the Chicago Cubs at the Baltimore Orioles. The Cubs are 23-32 this season and have lost their last two games. They’re coming off two straight losses to the St. Louis Cardinals but will start Keegan Thompson tonight. Thompson has an incredible 6-0 record as a starter this season with an ERA of 1.99.

Baltimore will send the 1-3 Kyle Bradish out to the mound to face off against Thompson. Unfortunately for the Orioles, the Cubs are a strong batting team with a batting average of .244. With Thompson on the mound, the Cubs are definitely the likely team to win this game. They come in as -115 favorites, so we’ll take the Cubs on the road tonight.

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Tampa Bay Rays – 7:10 PM ET

The St. Louis Cardinals have a record of 32-23 this season and have won their last two games. Tonight, they’ll face the Tampa Bay Rays, who are 31-23 and 18-13 at home this season. The Cardinals are one of the best batting groups in MLB, with an average of .254. They also have an impressive on-base percentage of .323.

Taking the mound for the Cardinals against the Rays is the 4-2 Dakota Hudson. Hudson has an ERA of 2.96 this season over 51.2 innings pitched. For the Rays, Jeffrey Springs will get the start. Springs is 2-2 this season with an ERA of 1.88, which is rather impressive. The question is whether the Rays batters can keep up. Still, we’ll take the Cardinals on the road +125.

Oakland Athletics vs. Atlanta Braves – 7:20 PM ET

Shortly after the game above begins, this one will kick-off. The Oakland Athletics, 20-36 this season, will face the 28-27 Atlanta Braves. Oakland has had a tough stretch, losing their last six games in a row. The 2-2 Cole Irvin will get the start for Oakland, Irvin has an ERA of 2.96 in 45.2 innings.

The Atlanta Braves are clearly the favorites here, coming in at -240. However, we can’t deny that they’re also the better pick considering the Athletics’ recent games. The Braves will start Kyle Wright, who is 5-3 as a starter this season. The Braves also have better batters who are hitting .241 as a team. We’ll go with the Braves -240 at home.

New York Yankees vs. Minnesota Twins – 7:40 PM ET

The last game of our MLB picks of the day is the New York Yankees at the Minnesota Twins. This game should be pretty entertaining as each of these teams are pretty similar. Where the Yankees have the major edge is in terms of pitching. On the mound tonight is Jameson Taillon, who has a 6-1 record as a starter. Taillon has an ERA of 2.30 over the course of 58.2 innings.

The Twins batters will likely have some trouble getting hits off of Taillon. This was a big problem for them in their recent 12-3 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays. Pitching is also a major concern for the Twins at the moment. They’ve yet to announce their pitcher for the game against the Yankees tonight. With that being said, the best pick is the New York Yankees.
