It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on Tuesday’s MLB playoff schedule.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Atlanta Braves – 1:07 PM ET

The first of the National League Divisional Series is set to begin today. The Philadelphia Phillies, who finished the regular season with an 87-75 record will face the Atlanta Braves. On the mound for the Phillies is Ranger Suarez. Suarez ended the year with a 10-7 record and a 3.65 ERA. Taking on the Atlanta Braves won’t be an easy task but he’s up to the challenge.

The Atlanta Braves are sending out the best pitcher in their lineup, Max Fried. The left-handed pitcher finished the season with a 14-7 record and a 2.48 ERA. His prowess on the mound is what has the Braves as -205 favorites in this game. Keep in mind, the Phillies and the Braves both have the same .253 batting average. Still, we’ll go with the Braves over the Phillies -205.

Seattle Mariners vs. Houston Astros – 3:37 PM ET

The Seattle Mariners were able to sweep the Toronto Blue Jays to earn this spot. However, they’ll have to pull off another huge upset to move forward. Facing the Houston Astros tonight is Logan Gilbert of the Seattle Mariners. Gilbert had a 13-6 record through the regular season with an ERA of 3.20. As a team, the Mariners are batting .230, which is where the trouble begins.

The Mariners batters will have to face Justin Verlander of the Houston Astros. Verlander has a record of 18-4 with a 1.75 ERA over the course of 175 innings. With one of the best pitchers in the league, the Astros come into this game with plenty of confidence. They’re also at home, where they have a 55-26 record. We’ll go with Verlander and the Astros -225 here.

Cleveland Guardians vs. New York Yankees – 7:37 PM ET

Of all the teams that are on the road, we think the Cleveland Guardians have the best chance to win. They have a good matchup tonight against the New York Yankees. This season, the Guardians went 92-70 and they’re starting Cal Quantrill tonight. Quantrill went 15-5 with a 3.38 ERA through the regular season. The Guardians also have a batting average of .254.

The New York Yankees, on the other hand, have a batting average of .241. They are, however, starting one of their best pitchers, Gerrit Cole. Cole had a 13-8 record through the regular season with an ERA of 3.50. The Guardians have a slight edge at the plate and on the mound tonight. Because of this, we’ll take them over the Yankees at +180.

San Diego Padres vs. Los Angeles Dodgers – 9:37 PM ET

The final game of the night is between two NL West teams. After beating out the New York Mets for this spot, the San Diego Padres head to Los Angeles. On the mound for the Padres today is Mike Clevinger, who posted a 7-7 record this year. He had an ERA of 4.33 and has only thrown 91 strikeouts this season. He’s a poor choice for the Padres to start in their first game.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are sending out the 17-7 Julio Urias. Not only does Urias have one of the most impressive records but the ERA to back it up. With a 2.16 ERA, Urias should be able to slow down the batters of the Padres. It also helps that his own batters were hitting .257 during the regular season. Take the Los Angeles Dodgers at home -225 in this game.
