It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on the best games on Friday’s schedule.

Cleveland Guardians vs. New York Yankees – 1:07 PM ET

After the game was postponed yesterday, the second game of this series will take place today. The Cleveland Guardians, currently down 0-1 in the series, have a tough test today. Getting the start on the mound is Shane Bieber. Bieber posted a record of 13-8 during the regular season with an ERA of 2.88.

The Guardians’ opponent tonight is the New York Yankees (99-63). They finished the season with an impressive record and are now up 1-0 in the series. If they can seal a second win today, they’ll have the Guardians facing elimination. Nestor Cortes is taking the mound today, who finished the regular season with a 12-4 record.

With Cortes on the mound, the Guardians and Yankees are pretty much tied at the pitching spot. So, this game should come down to batting, where the Guardians have the edge. We’ll go with Cleveland over New York at +126.

Atlanta Braves vs. Philadelphia Phillies – 4:37 PM ET

The Atlanta Braves finished the regular season with a 101-61 record. They’re tied in their series against the Atlanta Braves at 1-1. The Braves pulled off a 3-0 win a few days ago but now they’ll have to play on the road in Philadelphia. They’ve yet to announce who will be taking the mound but whoever it is will face some tough batting.

The Philadelphia Phillies are currently batting .253, the same average as the Braves. Aaron Nola will make the start for them today. Nola finished the regular season with a record of 11-13 and an ERA of 3.25. His record isn’t very impressive but his ERA is pretty good.

Keep in mind the Atlanta Braves will be without second-baseman Ozzie Albies, who is on the 10-day IL. Considering the Phillies are also playing at home, we’ll go with them over the Braves at -120.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. San Diego Padres – 8:37 PM ET

The final game of the day is between the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres. The series is currently tied at 1-1 after the Dodgers lost Game 2, 5-3. Taking the mound for the Dodgers tonight is Tony Gonsolin. Gonsolin put up an impressive record during the regular season, 16-1. His ERA through the course of 130.1 innings was just 2.14.

The Padres are starting Blake Snell, who has a record of 8-10. Not only is his record worse than Gonsolin’s but his ERA of 3.38 isn’t nearly as good. The Padres will look to their batters to even the gap tonight. The only problem is the Dodgers have a better core batting group than the Padres.

This game is pretty clear for us, especially with Gonsolin on the mound. The Dodgers have a road record of 54-27 so we’re not worried about them not being at home. Between these two, the Dodgers at -120 are the better pick.
