It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on the top five games on Wednesday’s schedule.

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Pittsburgh Pirates – 4:05 PM ET

The St. Louis Cardinals, with a record of 93-68, bring their series against the Pirates to a close today. After grabbing a key 8-7 win in the 10th inning, they’ll look to earn another today. They’ve yet to decide who will take the mound but with a team that bats .252, it might not matter.

The Pittsburgh Pirates are starting the 4-3 Johan Oviedo, who has a 3.12 ERA. Over the course of 52 innings, Oviedo has thrown 53 strikeouts and allowed just five home runs. They’ve been able to keep up with the Cardinals for several games in this series. Look for the Pirates to pull off one final win at home over St. Louis.

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Milwaukee Brewers – 4:10 PM ET

Ranking fourth in the NL West, the Arizona Diamondbacks have a record of 73-88. Tonight, they’ll face the Milwaukee Brewers again, a team they’ve lost twice to already. On the mound for Arizona is Merrill Kelly, who has a 13-8 record with a 3.43 ERA. As a team, the Diamondbacks have a batting average of .230.

The Milwaukee Brewers have a slightly better batting average, coming in at .235. On the mound for them is Corbin Burnes, who has a 12-8 record with a 2.98 ERA. The Brewers have dominated this series and we expect them to get another win tonight. Take the Brewers at -178 over the Diamondbacks.

Atlanta Braves vs. Miami Marlins – 4:10 PM ET

As the regular season wraps up, the Atlanta Braves will again face the Miami Marlins. This series is tied at 1-1 with the final game of the series being played tonight. Atlanta has yet to name its starting pitcher but that might not be to important in this game.

Getting the start for the Marlins is Elieser Hernandez, who has a 3-6 record. His ERA of 6.83 is the reason we said the Braves pitcher might not matter much. Atlanta has a team batting average of .252 and they’re the best pick for tonight’s game.

Chicago Cubs vs. Cincinnati Reds – 4:10 PM ET

After two straight losses to the Cincinnati Reds, you’d think the Chicago Cubs would be underdogs. However, they come into this game at -120, regardless of the losses. On the mound today is the 4-5 Adrian Sampson, who has an ERA of 3.10. The Cubs have the advantage at the plate as well, coming in with a team batting average of .238.

The Cincinnati Reds have a team batting average of .235, slightly behind the Cubs. The 5-5 Graham Ashcraft will get the start on the mound, boasting an ERA of 4.52. Although they’ve won their last two games against the Cubs, we’ll take Chicago over Cincinnati at -120.

Minnesota Twins vs. Chicago White Sox – 4:10 PM ET

The final game we’re going to go over is the Minnesota Twins at Chicago White Sox. With a record of 77-84, the Twins have already been eliminated from playoff contention. However, they need to end their season on a high note by beating the White Sox. Unfortunately, the 0-2 Louie Varland will get the start for the Twins tonight.

The Chicago White Sox have won their last two games against the Twins. Last night, they beat the Minnesota Twins 8-3 in a dominant performance by their batters. As a team, the White Sox have a batting average of .256 and are our pick to win this game. Take the White Sox at -140 over the Minnesota Twins.
