It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on the top five games on Friday’s schedule.

Baltimore Orioles vs. Toronto Blue Jays – 7:07 PM ET

We’re going to start our day with an AL East game between the Orioles and Blue Jays. With a record of 75-67, the Baltimore Orioles rank fourth in the division. Getting the start tonight is Jordan Lyles, who has a 10-10 record with an ERA of 4.62. Baltimore has won their last two games, both of which were against the Washington Nationals.

The Toronto Blue Jays lost 11-0 yesterday to the Tampa Bay Rays. The loss brought their record down to 81-63 but they still rank second in the AL East. They’ve yet to announce their starter today but with a team that bats .261, we’ll take them.

Kansas City Royals vs. Boston Red Sox – 7:10 PM ET

The Kansas City Royals have a record of 57-87 this year, well under .500. They’ve gone 1-4 in their last five games which all lead to this one against the Red Sox. The 3-8 Jonathan Heasley will get the start for the Royals tonight. Heasley has an ERA of 5.51 and a record of 3-8 this season.

The Boston Red Sox have a record of 69-74 and are trying to make it back to .500. The 11-1 Michael Wacha will get the start tonight, Wacha has an ERA of 2.69. The Red Sox also have the better batting group with an average of .259. We’ll go with the Boston Red Sox at home -210.

Pittsburgh Pirates vs. New York Mets – 7:10 PM ET

After a 7-1 loss to the New York Mets last night, the Pittsburgh Pirates prepare for Game 2. This year, the Pirates have a 55-89 record and a poor pitching rotation. On the mound tonight is Mitch Keller, who has a record of 5-10 with a 4.01 ERA. Even their batters are struggling, boasting a team batting average of .222.

The New York Mets have a 90-55 record this season and lead the NL East. On the mound tonight is Taijuan Walker, who has an 11-4 record with an ERA of 3.48. With Walker on the mound the Mets have the best chance of winning this game. Taking the Mets at -267 is definitely the right move here.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Atlanta Braves – 7:20 PM ET

After going 4-1 over their last five games, the Philadelphia Phillies now face the Atlanta Braves. With an overall record of 80-63, the Phillies are third in the NL East at the moment. The 9-5 Ranger Suarez will get the start tonight, Suarez has an ERA of 3.62. The real driving force behind this team, however, is the batters.

The Atlanta Braves have lost four of their last five games, including their most recent one. They’re sending out the 13-6 Max Fried who has a 2.50 ERA this season. Still, Fried might not be enough for the Phillies batters. This time, we’ll go with the road team and take the Phillies at +158.

Cincinnati Reds vs. St. Louis Cardinals – 8:15 PM ET

The Cincinnati Reds come into this game with a 57-86 record. They’ve gone 28-43 on the road and face a very tough opponent today. They’ve yet to decide who will take the mound for them but it doesn’t much matter. They have a team batting average of .240 and that’s not enough to keep up with the St. Louis Cardinals.

The Cardinals have a 48-26 record at home this season and an overall record of 84-60. They currently lead the NL Central and have gone 3-2 in their last five games. Last night they suffered a 3-2 loss to the Reds but we expect them to bounce back tonight. They come in as -285 favorites but they’re definitely the best option here.
