It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on the top five games on Saturday’s schedule.

Kansas City Royals vs. Detroit Tigers – 6:10 PM ET

Our first game of the day features the Kansas City Royals at the Detroit Tigers. The Royals, with a record of 53-80, have lost their last three games. One of these losses was a 5-4 loss to the Detroit Tigers last night. With Jonathan Heasley (2-7) on the mound, the Royals are in a bit of trouble tonight. Heasley has an ERA of 5.22 over 70.2 innings.

The Tigers are starting Michael Pineda, who has a 2-6 record with a 5.27 ERA this season. Considering neither team has a strong starting pitcher, this game will come down to batting. The Royals have a significant advantage in this category with an average of .244. We’ll go with Kansas City on the road at +100.

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Pittsburgh Pirates – 6:35 PM ET

The Toronto Blue Jays have a 71-59 record and rank third in the AL East. At the moment, the division is up for grabs but it’ll take a few wins to usurp the Yankees. On the mound for the Blue Jays tonight is Trevor Richards, who has a 3-1 record and a 4.53 ERA.

Getting the start on the mound for the Pirates is Roansy Contreras, who is 4-4 this season. Contreras’ ERA of 3.57 should help the Pirates against the Blue Jays batters. Toronto has a team batting average of .260 this year, far ahead of the Pirates. Because of this, we’ll go with Toronto over Pittsburgh at -165.

Colorado Rockies vs. Cincinnati Reds – 6:40 PM ET

The Colorado Rockies come into this game with a 56-77 record. Over their last five games, the Rockies have earned only two wins. Last night, they suffered a 3-2 loss to the Cincinnati Reds, the same team they play tonight. Getting the start on the mound is the 7-10 German Marquez, who has an ERA of 4.97.

The Cincinnati Reds are sending out Nick Lodolo, who is 3-5 with an ERA of 4.30. The Reds have a slight edge in the pitching battle but are at a disadvantage at the plate. This season, the Reds have a batting average of .242, compared to the Rockies’ .260. Look for the Rockies to bounce back in Game 2 and win +105.

Chicago Cubs vs. St. Louis Cardinals – 7:15 PM ET

The Chicago Cubs come into this game as heavy underdogs at +175. After an 8-0 loss to the Cardinals last night, it’s not hard to understand why. On the mound for the Cubs tonight is Drew Smyly, who is 5-7 with a 3.24 ERA this season. Against the Cardinals batters, we think Smyly’s going to have a tough go tonight.

The Cardinals are sending out the 9-9 Adam Wainwright, who has an ERA of 3.09 this season. Wainwright’s a strong pitcher with several wins and strikeouts under his belt. He’s also backed by a group of batters with an average of .258. We’ll go with the Cardinals -210 at home over the Cardinals.

Miami Marlins vs. Atlanta Braves – 7:20 PM ET

Our final game of the night is between the Miami Marlins and the Atlanta Braves. The Marlins are fourth in the NL East with a 55-76 record. It’s also important to note that they’ve lost their last five games, including an 8-1 loss to the Braves. Tonight, they’ll send out Edward Cabrera, who is 4-2 with a 2.45 ERA over 44 innings.

The Atlanta Braves are second in the NL East with an 82-51 record. Over their last five games, the Braves are 3-2. Getting the start tonight is Jake Odorizzi, who is 5-5 with a 3.90 ERA. The Braves have the most significant advantage at the plate, where they have a .253 batting average. The best bet here is the Braves at home -205.
