It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on the top five games on Sunday’s schedule.

Colorado Rockies vs. Cincinnati Reds – 12:10 PM ET

The best bets of the day begin with a game between the Rockies and the Reds. The Colorado Rockies, with a record of 56-77 have lost three of their last five games. With German Marquez on the mound, they’ll hope to earn a win over the Reds tonight. Marquez is 7-10 this season with an ERA of 4.97.

The Cincinnati Reds are sending out Nick Lodolo, who is 3-5 with a 4.30 ERA. The key here for the Reds is whether they can shut down the Rockies batters. As a team, the Colorado Rockies have a batting average of .260. Because of this, we’ll take the Rockies on the road +105.

Miami Marlins vs. Atlanta Braves – 1:35 PM ET

The Miami Marlins desperately need a win after losing their last six games. Unfortunately, they play the Atlanta Braves tonight, who are a far better team than they are. The Marlins will start Pablo Lopez, who is 8-8 with an ERA of 3.64. As a team, the Marlins have a batting average of .228, ranking as one of the worst in the league.

The Atlanta Braves have an 83-51 record this season and are 46-25 at home. On the mound tonight is Max Fried, one of the best pitchers in the league. Fried has a record of 12-5 with a 2.56 ERA this season. Between these two, the better pick is the Braves at -250.

Texas Rangers vs. Boston Red Sox – 1:35 PM ET

The Texas Rangers will start Dane Dunning tonight, who has a 3-7 record with a 4.16 ERA. After losing seven games in a row, the Rangers hope that Dunning can pull off a win tonight. With a team batting average of .244, the Rangers will need to pull out all the stops to get a win.

The Boston Red Sox have yet to announce their pitcher for the day. However, they’ll more than likely rely on their batting to win this game. This season, the Red Sox have a batting average of .259. This prowess at the plate has helped them go 4-1 in their last five games this season. We’ll go with the Red Sox at home over the Rangers.

Washington Nationals vs. New York Mets – 1:40 PM ET

Yesterday, the Washington Nationals beat the New York Mets 7-1 yesterday. In an effort to get a win today, the Nationals will start Erick Fedde. This is going to be a problem for Washington as Fedde has a 5-9 record with a 5.29 ERA. Against the batters of the Mets, Fedde’s ERA could see the Nationals fall behind early.

The New York Mets have a record of 85-49 this season and are 46.22 at home. On the mound tonight is Carlos Carrasco, who has a 13-5 record with a 3.92 ERA this season. After losing 7-1, Carrasco gives the Mets the best chance to pull off a win tonight. Because of their record at home, we’ll take the Mets at -305.

Chicago Cubs vs. St. Louis Cardinals – 2:15 PM ET

Tonight, Marcus Stroman of the Chicago Cubs will face Miles Mikolas of the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cubs, who have a record of 56-77, have lost two straight games to the Cardinals. Stroman has a record of 3-6 with a 3.98 ERA this season. He’s backed up by a batting group that has a .241 average and a .313 on-base percentage.

Mikolas has an ERA of 3.48 with a record of 10-10 this season. Sitting right at .500, Mikolas will do what he can to hold off the batters of the Cubs. The good news is he has a team with a batting average of .258 behind him. The Cardinals have a 44-22 record at home making them the better pick at -190.
