It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look and betting on the top five games on Friday’s schedule.

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Pittsburgh Pirates – 6:35 PM ET

The St. Louis Cardinals are coming off of an 11-6 loss to the Washington Nationals. Tonight, they’ll head out on the road to face the 50-86 Pittsburgh Pirates. They’re favored to win this game, similar to how they were favored yesterday. Miles Mikolas will get the start tonight, Mikolas is 11-10 with a 3.32 ERA.

The Pittsburgh Pirates are starting Roansy Contreras who is 4-4 with a 3.41 ERA. The Pirates are also coming off of a rough 10-0 loss to the New York Mets. Over their last five games, the Pirates are 1-4. We’ll go with the Cardinals on the road at -205 over the Pirates.

New York Mets vs. Miami Marlins – 6:40 PM ET

We just mentioned the huge win that the New York Mets earned a few days ago. Now, they’ll continue their road stretch as they head to Miami to face the 56-80 Marlins. The Mets themselves have a record of 87-51 and lead the NL East. They have yet to decide who they will start on the mound tonight, however.

The Miami Marlins recently beat the Philadelphia Phillies 6-5. Now, they’ll have a chance to beat the New York Mets, one of the best teams in the National League. On the mound for them tonight is Edward Cabrera, who is 4-2 with a 2.39 ERA. We’ll actually take the underdogs here and go with the Miami Marlins.

Tampa Bay Rays vs. New York Yankees – 7:05 PM ET

The Tampa Bay Rays are on a three-game winning streak heading into this game against the Yankees. This AL East matchup could see the Rays inch closer to taking over the division. To do so, they’ll need a big night from SP Drew Rasmussen. Rasmussen has a 9-4 record with an ERA of 2.70.

With the Rays starting such a strong pitcher, how will the Yankees respond? Well, the 5-11 Frankie Montas will get the start for the Yankees tonight. They’ll have to rely on their batters to win this one, a group that has an average of .238. This is likely going to be a tough game but we’ll take the Rays on the road over the Yankees.

Cincinnati Reds vs. Milwaukee Brewers – 8:10 PM ET

After two straight wins over the Chicago Cubs, the Reds head to Milwaukee. With a 55-80 record, they’ll likely miss the postseason but that hasn’t deterred them. On the mound tonight is Nick Lodolo, who has a 3-5 record with a 3.95 ERA. The Reds have a pretty strong team batting average as well, going .241 this season.

The Milwaukee Brewers have won three of their last five games. Led by the 2-2 Jason Alexander, they’ll try to earn a win over the Reds tonight. Alexander has an ERA of 5.03 this season, which doesn’t give us much confidence. Although they’re underdogs, we’ll take the Reds at +122 over the Brewers.

Atlanta Braves vs. Seattle Mariners – 9:40 PM ET

The Atlanta Braves have an 86-51 record this season, second in the NL East. Tonight, they’ll face the 77-60 Seattle Mariners, who are second in the AL West. On the mound for the Braves is Charlie Morton, who is 7-5 this season with a 4.01 ERA. Morton is backed up by one of the best batting lineups in the league with an average of .254.

The Mariners have a team batting average of .230, which could play a significant role here. At home, however, Seattle has a 36-30 record, sitting just above .500. On the mound tonight is Robbie Ray, who has a 12–8 record as a starter. With the better pitcher on the mound, we’ll go with the upset and take the Mariners +100.
