NFL Week 9 Recap
The NFL Week 9 was full of action, along with a few upsets. Certain games that were considered “locks” ended up falling through the cracks, while others went according to plan.
Let’s go over some of our favorite NFL games of the week during this Week 9 recap.
Las Vegas Raiders vs. Jacksonville Jaguars – 27-20 (Jaguars)
Another upset that surprised us was the Las Vegas Raiders losing a 17-point lead. By the end of the game, they lost 27-20 to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
In the postgame press conference, Raiders QB Derek Carr had a lot to say about his team. We’ll have to see if this results in any changes going forward.Â
The Jacksonville Jaguars played a game that fit their style, and they stayed resilient. QB Trevor Lawrence passed for 235 yards and two touchdowns.
They only turned the ball over once and held the ball for over thirty-two minutes. Although they have a long way to go before they take over the division, Week 9 was a good start.
Seattle Seahawks vs. Arizona Cardinals – 31-21 (Seahawks)
The Seattle Seahawks were able to secure a huge win over a division rival. Seattle’s offense is firing on all cylinders this season, and their defense did well too.
Geno Smith, Seattle’s starting quarterback, passed for 275 yards and two touchdowns. Kenneth Walker III rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns as well.
The Arizona Cardinals need to go back to the drawing board. They now have a record of 3-6 and a 1-4 record when playing at home.
This team is all out of sorts, and there could be a few reasons for this. After losing their last two games, something needs to change in Arizona before it’s too late.
